Good morning, everyone!
It’s Tuesday, well, it’s Monday night because once again I’m in the office tomorrow so I need to pre-write this and pretend to know the future. Not a fan.
Anyway, what’s going on in the house is just more of the same as the entire season. The power alliance is running the house, and the other half are just clueless people waiting to get picked up. Well, almost everyone. Mallory actually seems to have a decent grasp on the house, but she’s basically powerless so even when she tells Drew that he’s the target, he doesn’t believe her.
Meanwhile, the two strongest players are sitting super pretty, both with powers, and at this point I see no reason why they won’t be 1st and 2nd this season. It’s becoming quite clear the advantage former players of any reality game show have over newbies, but when you add in the fact that one was a winner and both were 2x players, that’s just a recipe for disaster.
I guess it’s just a rant time against production. Like, who thought it was a good reality show veterans who also know each other from the same show? Was there anyone out there who didn’t seem them teaming up? Was production thinking there was going to be some rivalry because they were rivals on the other show?
I mean, sure, maybe when it comes down to the top 5-6, but we all knew they were going to keep each other safe because they are both massive shields for each other.
Anyway, like I said, I’m in the office today, so bean-bot will be giving you updates. Be nice!
Right now, I think the ones who don’t show much game, need to come together and start working together. Kamu and Hailey and let’s say even Chuk, fight to maintain an unbreakable power hold. It will be interesting to see who wins the BBBB. Who ever wins it, will obviously change the dynamic of the house in this first hour.
as for Dee and Devins, they should realize Angela will not be able to win any of the comps unless they are chance… her season would have proven that, also on amazing race she did not do that good, though her daughter rocked it… I wish they would have broght back Cameron BB25 or Victor from BB18
This afternoon Haley was having a conversation with Angela and came right out and told Angela the only way she could win an HOH is if it was Lucky by chance. You know that comment didn’t sit well with Angela.
There’s so many people that I think need to go. She’s one of them. She’s already been there too damned long.

From this 8:05 update I really wish Mallory would tell Haley Kamu & Chuk how Lyric has said she does not trust them. Not that Kamu and Chuk would believe her but putting that seed of doubt would be a really good start.

I am wondering if anyone of them watched Dee’s season, see literally threw the guy (Austin) she was hanging with and tight with in an alliance under the bus twice, and kept it from him… First time with telling Julie to play the idol, when they were going to blind side her… Then when they blindsided Drew who was in her alliance…

100% I remember that but that’s how the game is played. People really shouldn’t be surprised about sneaky behavior because if you don’t do s*** like that you’re not going to win.

In the HOH room Chuck just told everyone “If we keep lyric me and Kamu can influence who she puts up if she wins HOH”.
Chuck and Kamu are absolutely embarrassing. They get smiled at and lose all perspective.

Yeah I know this is not BB related and compared to some people we’re fine. But the pollution from the Spokane Washington fires is now at the the SeaTac area now.

Not only is it going to be in the upper 80s, right around 90 and nights only in the 60s, we have to keep our windows and doors closed because of high pollution levels. (I have mild to moderate asthma caused by years of bronchitis) So I can’t risk anything.
This morning up until about 10:00 a.m. or so the levels were in the green only at 30. I just looked and it’s now at 99 in the upper yellow section. Overnight it’ll be orange and tomorrow morning it’ll be red in the levels in the mid-150s. Looks like all day tomorrow possibly longer depending on wind of course.
No rain in sight. That was the only thing that cleaned us out years ago when we dealt with this before.
Again I know some people have it much much worse than we do and we at least have our home. I just needed a place to whine a little bit.

@LynnD I think it was worse a few years back but I don’t recall. It lasted 4 or 5 days then. When we finally saw the blue skies again it was really nice. My kid just opened up the window in their bedroom and I’m a bit annoyed but I know it’s hot. I just didn’t want the pollution.inside the house. (But she knows everything about everything so???)? Sigh. I wish saying something would actually change stuff but it won’t

I truly want Drew to stay. He kind of got penalized for doing what they asked him to do. I love that Dee is willing to flip this house (it makes for good feeds). If for nothing else she should do it out of pure boredom (like she has said, it makes it fun).

Yes he did do what they asked him to as far as being a go-between but it sure looks like that was gonna be his game to begin with. He needs to stay to keep the game going. Lyric has to go. She’s a huge nothing burger in there. Melody’s game would’ve been so much better if she had not started with Drew. They’re taking too much of each other’s brain power away from the game. She has great game sense despite her lack of vocabulary so hopefully she stays too.

Dee is up to something. Devens and Angela are somewhat reluctant about her wanting to keep Drew. It’s looking like she may use that bribe this week if she doesn’t get her way.

Before seeing her working Angela and Devens today I would absolutely agree. It was weird and very unexpected especially since their plans had already been solidified. Now with the fact that she hid the advantage from Devens to begin with… Something’s fishy. She’s scary smart and epitomizes “in it to win it”. She plays life chess.

It sure is, Steve, it sure is. Not to mention the three were given, perhaps, the most important HoH of any season. Oh, and those three got the first three powers. Because of these advantages, I want Dee and Angela gone.

Good question. I should have included him. I guess I didn’t because I like him; but I don’t want to see any of the advantaged three get into the final two. If one does make it, then I’d prefer it to be Devens.

Good question, Lynn. As of right now I like: Mallory, Devens, Drew, Melody, and maybe Barrett, Yash, and Thog. I’m just jaded by the three icons getting all of the goodies up front.
Doesn’t sound like I have missed anything important over the last day plus, but it does make me think of this when checking out the feeds.

Yeah I just turned the feeds on a little bit ago and I’ve only heard snippets but the sentiment towards Drew might be shifting.
If it does, I just hope the target becomes lyric.
Only because I don’t know how the legal system in Hawaii is getting by without that great mind.

They just showed a closeup of Haley’s large dragonfly tattoo. It’s fitting for her. Kind of cool but also kind of savage. I recently learned details on dragonflies is the reason for the comment.
Not sure when this was filmed because I saw it Tiktok, but Devin’s was just filmed saying that he’s going to tell “true alliance” (Angela!?? WTF!? ) about the Red Corner alliance.
There might be a reason why he’s never won Survivor and why Dee did not tell him about hers.
If Angela’s his true alliance why tell Dee and not her about the power? And I thought Angela was starting to get on his nerves.
Ping ponging back and forth on this show is one of the things that bothers me the most.

With Drew actually liking Angela and thinking they’re working well together I think he’s going to be kind of hurt when he finds out that Angela is the one that led the charge on getting him on the block and out the door.
Absolutely. He will be shocked.
Once he is over the initial shock he probably shouldn’t be surprised. He is a BB fan and has seen her operate. He may be kicking himself for falling for it and not being more cautious.
My wife and I have watched just about every season. It used to be that production would bring in a bunch of strangers of different ages, different genders and different races. That Sociological experiment was amazing to watch.
Now production thinks that they know what America wants when clearly they don’t. All of these stupid production elements that are so unnecessary and quite honestly ridiculous.
Stick to the formula that made the franchise. And stop bringing back people from past seasons and other shows. Start fresh every season with 15 strangers. That’s what made the show great and that’s really what everybody wants to see.
Production also wants us to believe that the majority of Americans wanted to see Angela with a power. Angela! One of the most pathetic players of all time. Every episode, I think to myself, her family must be so embarrassed to be related to her.
Stick to the formula made the show great and stop trying so hard.
The idea that one player could have a power so strong that they can basically destroy somebody’s HOH after they earned it is ridiculous. They want Devon‘s side of the house to stay in power. Even though it’s boring and even though most of America is bored of seeing that side continue to win, that’s exactly what big brother wants. So they try to convince us that everybody voted for Angela,🤦🏼♂️ Devon‘s and D. Then they give Devon’s a power so big that they can literally stay in power for as long as they want.
This is the first season where my wife and I have looked at each other multiple times and said “are we done with this stupid show? “. we tape it skip past the commercials or we just go online to see who won HOH and who they nominated.
By far the most boring season in the history of the show
Big Brother needs to stick to the formula.
I agree that early casting of everyday people was better, before all the agents and social media influencers. But production wants the eye candy and social media influencer followers to attract viewers.
Attractive people make for easy to watch TV. I appreciate it. But 100% BB putting people in there whose main goal is not to win but instead is for exposure or to have a dream vacation and just make it to jury is NOT the way.

Google says the last 2 seasons they did it week 7 but says normally it’s either week 6 or 7 but they have been known to do it week 3 or 4. I’m guessing it will be 6 or 7.? But then again what do I know I’m usually wrong.

Drew likely threw most of the comps to stay in the middle and work the entire house which is why he is likely going home next unless he wins the BB. You’re spot on about the other three for sure. You forgot Yash though.

Sorry, but I can’t feel bad for the “losing side” when for the most part they are clueless about the game, helped vote off one of their own just last week, lie around all day complaining instead of campaigning and fighting for their BB lives, and now 2 want to go home?! If it wasn’t for the vets who I hope can annihilate the “Red Corner,” I wouldn’t even be watching anymore.
Melody even mentioned she wished everyone would quit talking about game all the time. Hello this is Big Brother so happy the Devens and Dee are there to spice the game more than recent seasons.

1 punishment and 2 wins it is time for a punishment I would vote whoever you think would be best to get one than save the voting for last 2 to maybe get a reward.
Mallory is the only one of the younger girls who knows BB and understands how the game works imo. And she pays attention to what others are doing and has figured some things out. However, I don’t think she has a good social game in that she sticks with the same group overall and she doesn’t campaign much.
