Two of those listed have arguably featured some of the worst early gameplay I have seen in oh so long. It’s like watching a bunch of Frenchie’s running around (BB23). Jason has been outright awful in his sloppy play from virtually every aspect of the game. I can go on and on about his game, but let’s just say his entire strategy was to read ‘what not to do in the BB house’ and then do everything in the book.
Rome, on the other hand, hasn’t been too bad other than his massive mistake of having a very open showmance 2 days into the season. He’s made a bunch of other smaller mistakes, but the biggest sin by far is the showmance and how he just didn’t care. Look, I get it, people hook up in the house every single season. At some point, you just can’t hide it and have to openly fight as a pair. However, that usually happens a bit later in the season after you’ve at least tried to hide it for a bit.
Melody? She hasn’t been too bad. Her social game has been super mediocre, and she decided to largely group up with Mallory and Lyric while having a weird flirt thing with Drew. Her game is so mediocre that she was never even able to really align with Lyric’s showmance and openly said she didn’t trust him. If you’re going to attach yourself to someone, you take their showmance with them, good or bad.
I should create a new list, just called the bozo list. Players who are just in the game as either furniture or extra numbers in their alliance and will eventually be voted out

Chuck is only borderline because he’ll be the first eliminated once their whole corner starts eating itself as hes’ basically just becoming more and more of a number for them rather than someone who is running the show.
Now, this by no means guarantee the finals, but these are the people currently running the show. Yes, there are very good chances people on the bozo list will win HoH and able to snipe a few of them. Devens is a good example of someone who probably won’t make it to the end because of that, but these people are all running things:

Unless some of the bozos wake up and realize that, those 5 are going to control most of the nominations barring any flukes like Mallory winning HoH.

Jason is a trip and Melody an alliance of one, but I hope it’s Mr. C**k o’ the Walk who goes home tonight! And maybe then Lyric can still salvage her game.

I don’t like her at all, that nepo baby voice for one thing, but I’ve never really seen her away from Rome, so who knows?!
I’m wondering if Lyric will be able to gain back any favor with me once he is gone. She was one of my favorites at first but has moved way down on my list with her behavior.

I don’t dislike Rome on his own but I intensely dislike the showmance and the fact he’s willing to throw away his own game for a girl he just met. He should have done a dating show.
Not able to watch tonight, unable to access live TV at my cottage. I’ll follow along here tonight and watch it in the morning. I don’t care who leaves tonight. I hope the next hoh keeps stirring the pot. I have decided on giving Barrett my votes, not sure why.

I love Melody more than I should haha! But Mallory is a real sweetheart, so I wouldn’t mind seeing her as HOH.
Mallory is a sweetheart. I think she’s going to be better than average with the comps. The rest of the game is what seems to be the problem for her.
Mallory might be interesting. She’d target the vets. And since there’s no way Dee couldn’t win one of the two comps I’d hope for Angela to go and stop feeding Dee her paranoia.
I love only having to go in the office 2 days a week. Remote work is the best.
Yea my kids work for an OEM and have to be in office Tu-Thur. With a good manager it can be flexible. They hate the drive/traffic but they carpool so not too bad.

I think the vets could be in trouble soon if they keep up this Drew and Barrett thing. They’re getting ready to screw themselves. Whether they do or they don’t, I’m ready for power to be on the other side tonight. I’ve been enjoying Dee and Angela but they’re playing sloppy and I think they need to get humbled a little bit. I think Devens does too because his moves this week were kind of dumb. I’m fine if none of them leave next but I do think they need the crap scared out of them.
I think the vets have got a good bead on Drew and Barrett though I believe that they will flip and pounce on Dee and Devens at first opportunity which should be good TV for us. I’m looking forward to seeing if the vets see it coming or if they get got. Drew is the truly dangerous one of the two.
Oh I think he can be dangerous too but he’s completely loyal to the vets and I think it’s crazy for them to turn on him now. I just think it’s way too soon. They’re actually creating the disloyalty that’s eventually going to come.

Yes. Devens has not flat out said it but he’s brought it up at least twice now. They know.

To me, going after the vets is a no brainer. Like, sorry, but you already had your time to shine. Time to move on over.

Definitely. I’m halfway rooting for the Vets at the moment but I absolutely think they need to hit the block and people are crazy not to do it.
I wouldn’t mind that as much if I thought any of the others would be as entertaining as the Vets or if I liked the majority of the non-Vets. But I’m finding that I don’t, lol.

I feel like Devens mistakes this week were Devens/Dee/Angela collective mistakes and they need to stop listening to Angela so much.
I agree I don’t want to see a steamroll, but I would hate to see Devens or Dee out this early. They are truly having fun and making the season fun, which isn’t usually the case this early.
Angela can go at any time as far as I am concerned.

Ya thats tall. My husband is 6’5″ and when we moved into out last house, my coffee table wasn’t underneath the light in the living room at first and my husband kept hitting his head on it so I had to rearrange the furniture.
Chuckle! My little (!) brother was 6’4. I’m a whopping 5′ nothing.
My son is 6’5′! It drives me nuts because I’m 6′ and used to be the tallest in the family.

The last couple of days Chuck has been repeating that he is laying low on purpose. Since he, Rome, and Jason won the safety the first week and those two are attention whores, he was going to let them show themselves as threats and he wouldn’t get that label. Out of sight, out of mind type thing. But I agree he is at the bottom of the alliance.
My question with Drew and Barrett is who is going to turn on who first. Will they turn on the alliance or vise versa.
Chuck is really playing smart for right now. We will see once it gets later in the game, but I’ve been keeping an eye on him for sure.
I agree with your list, even Angela is playing better than those on the Bozo list. Lala started out trying to impress people with how great shape she is in and with her cooking but now she seems to be annoying others. Her alliance with Rome certainly is not what she thought (was she ignoring the showmance as trivial?). Thanks Steve, and I hope good memories of your mom bring peace.
STEVE? From what you were writing yesterday I thought you like Lala because you defended her? What has she done that made you want to put her in the bozo category?
JASON: I would prefer to be him. He just annoys me and it has nothing to do with his lifestyle.
ROME: I’ve always hated watching people make out on the show. One thing I wish that they would stop showing on TV because I really don’t watch the feeds at least not often. But Rome isn’t a horrible person at least not from what I’ve been able to tell. Falling for Lyric seems to be the only issues thus far and is that really an issue other than putting a target on his back?
MELODY: I don’t know that much about her but people said she’s a pretty smart cookie and might be flying under the radar? Thoughts on that? At any rate I really don’t have an opinion one way or another about her at this point.
I have wanted to like Melody mainly because she is one of the few that really knows the BB game and could be a good player. But she doesn’t seem like a very nice person. Seems bitter and entitled and would turn the knife in anyone’s back in a heartbeat. She is nice to peoples faces and says the right things, but has negative things to say about everyone behind their backs. Even those she is supposedly close to, except maybe Drew at this point.
But just my opinion right now.

We all know the network shows are edited as production wants things to be, so those that don’t watch the feeds may not see it. But again, it is just my opinion.

I honestly loved the cereal segment CBS did for him. You’re right, if it wasn’t for the constant crunching and milk refills I don’t think anyone would have noticed lol
