Good afternoon, everyone!
I have the week off as I’m between jobs now, but wow what a terrible week to be off. There is absolutely nothing going on in the house. However, due to my mother passing, my pre-feed update threads have been pretty bare. I am still mourning, and again, thank you all so so much for your condolences. They meant a lot to me. She was suffering from Parkinsons and related dementia the last few years, so she was in agony. It is sometimes more comforting to know people are no longer suffering.
So with that out of the way, let’s move back on to Big Brother
The state of the house is just flat out weird. You have three idols who are controlling the house, but two are from Survivor, and one is just a bad player. While that has given them some advantage, this is definitely not a BB expert like Dan coming back and running things. For example, Devens made a big move by saying he’s going to split up a showmance, only to put one half of them on the block in a season where they can play a comp to get themselves off. If Rome wins, there is no plan B. Showmance back together and competing in the HoH comp while Devens isn’t.
Through this boredom, it seems the house is finding more time trying to turn this into Love Island than Big Brother, except nobody is really biting. There is a weird love triangle going with the original red corner as Haley is clearly into Kamu, while Chuk is clearly into Haley (Thog). Kamu may also be into Haley, but he’s certainly not showing it very well. Probably because unlike Rome and Lyric, he’s actually trying to win the game.
I’m sure down the line, as certain things build up, Kamu and Haley will probably end up flirting more and maybe start a showmance, but I think that’s 1 month + of abstinence before that happens.
Meanwhile, it seems Drew and Barrett are both trying to shoot their shot at Dee who doesn’t seem interested in either, and I think both are starting to think of their plan B which may be Melody and Mallory. Yash and Taylor have also been rumored to have been a bit flirty. I tell you, a month+ with no action and you will see way more flirting.
The Latrice Hate
While everyone else is playing Love Island, Latrice is over here playing mother of the house cooking them up amazing dinners while the rest of the house is kind of shitting on her. Not a fan of that. Not a fan at all. She’s a neat freak, so Angela and Dee talking about playing pranks on her. Meanwhile, Dee and Haley are both hard on the thought of not only nominating her, but ensuring she’s a havenot. Like, what? What’s wrong with them?
This keeps up, Lala is going to be moving up in my rankings. Sure, she’s not really playing the game hard, but I don’t vibe with that crap. Speaking of rankings, alter yours here every day and also go to their profiles and select them as a favorite. This gives them points as if they were #1

That leaves Latrice, Taylor, and Jason as a friendly trio. Jason in his own little small pairings. Mallory still in love with Lyric who is obviously in love with Rome (I am not 100% sure if Mallory’s love is friend or more, tbh). Yash thinking he’s part of the guys but he’s really just there. And finally, Melody is has been flirty with Drew which could possibly be the only thing that helps make her to jury.
Wrapping Up
Honestly, that’s about it right now. It feels like we have 8 people playing the game, and the other 8 just waiting to get kicked out. No matter what happens, they all better change their attitude toward Latrice sooner than later because it’s just not a good look. Latrice has literally done nothing but be a mom to the house. Can she be annoying? I don’t know, maybe (not to me, personally). Some say she loves to jump in and act like she knows everything, but still not a reason for that treatment.

And I finally realized that Melody looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s oldest daughter. I had to catch her without makeup to see it. Shiloh? I think is her name. She looks like she’s eight years old without makeup.
Oh My Gosh! Dee busting in the guys meeting and shaming them all about Jason and Devens not being invited! It was EVERYTHING! Of course, they can’t vote, and one put Rome on the block, and one is sitting beside him on the block, but she told them all…this is not cool. And the look on Devens face was priceless. He said later he didn’t know what she was going to do or say going in. She is FIERCE! And prolly put a big fat target on her back.

I’m really glad that there are people on tiktok that show the live feeds because I’m not able to follow them at home. Here’s another of the after talk when Rome tried to save himself but if you listen all the way through it’s pretty obvious they want him gone.

I know not everybody uses tiktok but this video is kind of interesting during the “guys only” meeting, and Rome being confronted by Dee. Apparently Rome was just saying “you should keep me around for a shield you know I’m always going to be a Target.” Then after he left, everybody was talking and said no we’re going to put him out if he doesn’t win the next challenge.
I really hope he doesn’t win that stupid thing.

Dee walking in on Rome’s meeting and calling him out for leaving out Devens and Jason was hilarious. I hope they show that on the network show.

Doing that with Latrice reminds of Survivor when a tribe would have someone who could climb trees and get coconuts and catch fish and that would be one of the first people, they would vote out clearly common sense does not always accompany some of these people to the BB house or Fiji.
Maybe somewhat. But it’s not like others can’t cook, they just aren’t sure they are allowed to.

The way they’re treating Lala reminds me of the way they treated Taylor a few years ago. She was a pariah, but went to win the season. Never liked her, but don’t don’t like the way they treated her either.
I don’t think it is the same at all. They are all nice to Lala. Maybe too nice. They weren’t at all nice to Taylor until production stepped in. But, never did and still don’t like her at all.
I’m torn about LaLa. I agree that it’s rude to talk crap about someone who’s cooking their butt off for you. However, I think the vibe toward her changed recently after she said she wasn’t going to be a Have Not. Saying the quiet part out loud is quite a flex frankly and I don’t think it went over well. Maybe they’re wondering if that’s why she’s cooking for them… so she won’t get nominated/have to volunteer. And some of the ones who stay up super late are annoyed she wants them to quiet tf down so she can sleep. However, I don’t blame her for being grossed out by some of the houseguest’s habits or being POd about a few of the dudes not helping to clean…I’m right there with ya, sister!
I don’t care if she is a good cook or not, that long, stringy hair flinging around the kitchen while she cooks gives me the ick. I don’t care whether it is real hair or not, have the decency to at least tie it back or something to prevent hair getting in the food.
Taylor does the same thing but at least she braids hers sometimes.
The other day LaLa was using the kitchen mirrors to fix her hair while Taylor was cooking.
It grosses me out!
And the hairy guys doing stuff in the kitchen with no shirts on bugs me too.
I enjoy cooking and those types of things are pet peeves to me.
Yuck! The thought of those hairy chests almost grosses me out more than regular hair near food! Excellent points.
I was actually at a restaurant a few weeks ago, one of the nicer places here, 31 coins. This server had really long hair down past her bottom. Completely unsecured. I said something to the management of but of course they don’t don’t give a s*** anymore. It’s so freaking gross .

I might be wrong but from what I’ve been reading and seeing on TikTok Lala’s been really controlling about the kitchen and who’s cooking. That’s what’s p*****g people off. (I think?)
I thinks it’s that and the fact she says she’s not going to be a have not. That’s never a good thing to tell people-especially the ones that have already suffered through it. It wants them to make sure you get your turn.
Maybe it was here I saw some of you talking about it. Apparently Steve hasn’t noticed that. That would irk my ass too because that’s part of what you sign up for.
I listen to Taran Armstrong’s daily update on RHAP. If something gets missed out on here he’s got the tea. But Steve does a great job too.
From what I have seen she clearly sees herself as the matriarch of the house. Her house, her rules. Not only the kitchen thing, and thinking she should not have to do have not (as LaDonna said), but she also goes to bed earlier than everyone else and expects no noise at all. She got really rude about it the other day. It’s why they whisper really quietly at night in the other bedroom and we can barley hear them on the feeds. They are feeling they have to walk on eggshells around her so as to not piss her off and they are starting to resent that.
I could never do BB because I just wouldn’t have the tolerance.
