It’s Saturday in the Big Brother house which means it’s veto day! Lala, Barrett, Chuk, and Haley will join 2 more in a fight for their safety, but it’s a comp that likely won’t alter the week much unless Haley is the winner.
But before I begin talking about that, I want to let you know of a new feature that will be released today. Mute and Block in the comments!
Honestly, I’m not sure why I didn’t think of this before. Probably because I completely rewrote the site over the winter and the last comment system was a pre-built piece that had a bunch of bells and whistles already built in. Anyway, here is how it works:

Mute – This will still show the person, but remove what they say. It will replace their comments with ‘this person is on mute’. This is an option so you can still take part in conversations they may have started.

Block – This is the ‘I don’t want to see this person at all’ button that will remove their comments entirely. The downside is that if they start a big discussion with a lot of replies, you won’t be able to see any of it.
Look for that by the end of the day.

Inside the house, we got our reveal of who ‘won’ the Time Capsule this week and it was none other than pipe queen Mallory!
She obviously landed on a punishment, and that was 48h in an Adam and Eve costume with a partner. And the Adam she chose? Melody!
Mallory mentioned how they said something like that was the first time someone picked the same gender for this punishment, which doesn’t make a ton of sense because I think it was only done once before? That was Victoria and Caleb. There have been plenty of punishments where they were linked together as the same gender. We all remember how hilarious it was to see Cirie and Mama FeFe in their boat around the house. Whatever.
Back to the game side, LaTrice is working hard on playing dumb. She told Angela that she is telling people she doesn’t really know what she’s doing, and it’s working. Haley and crew have mentioned numerous times that Lala is clueless and letting others run the show. How she let someone flip her decision at the very last minute, etc. However, they’re quite wrong.
I don’t know if this part was intentional, but nominating Chuk and Haley without Kamu was an absolute genius move. If intentional, that’s some serious big-brain moves going on because not only did it still achieve her goal of going after Haley, but it further drove the wedge between the original Red Corner trio.
And if Haley does win PoV, she still does have the option of putting Kamu up and getting him out, although as it stands right now, it actually doesn’t sound like she is going to do that. I’m not going to put the cart before the horse, but currently Drew is the replacement nom, which I guess is still good for Lala’s game, but probably not as good as Kamu going up and out.
We will have to see what she decides if Haley wins. Sure, it’s a bit of a risk to let her play, that part is true, but giving her the chance to play as a non-nominee and win means she can save Chuk, and now Lala is nominating Drew and probably Kamu (because she really doesn’t have many other options).
Obviously, as fans who want Kamu to go, you’re thinking ‘I don’t see the problem’, and you’re right, but I am going by her decision to keep Kamu safe this week for some reason. She decided to do that because maybe she really believes he’ll ignore her if he wins moving forward, and she may be right. Once she puts him on the block, she then becomes an option for him in the near future and he’s absolutely someone who can win comps. He’s basically a situation of don’t shoot unless you know you can hit.

Did anyone hear the conversation Dee & Devens was having with Taylor before the feeds cut? Taylor was telling either Dee or Devens that she can’t stand some girl and if they keep talking to her when she wins HOH she’s putting them up. I’m sure she was joking about putting either Dee or Devens up but I’m wondering what girl Taylor was talking about? Anybody here that convo?

If that is the conversation you are referring to I heard some of it.
I thought Taylor said “If I win HOH next week you (Rick) are going up because of your relationship with her”.
When I heard that I thought “Who is she referring to?”
To me it didn’t sound like she was kidding.
That’s the conversation but Taylor was bad-mouthing somebody of course we didn’t get the name bc of the feeds so I was just curious who Devens is talking to that is p*****g Taylor off. But apparently, Taylor wants Dee & Devens on the Block anyways so she’s probably just going to find any reason to do it.
Finally got a chance to turn on feeds and Dee is recapping to Devens and Angela and I’m so confused.

Haley and Chuk (especially Haley) are making me very frustrated. I quite physically cannot watch the feeds anymore if those two are on camera. Cannot stand those two.

I’m really sick of these HGs thinking there is still going to be a battle back. I am 99.9% sure the whole BB before the vote has taken over for the battle back. Please watch Big Brother before you apply / join the show.
It looks like the last time a player was able to come back into the game was Season 25
Even if there wasnt a blockbuster, don’t they only do battle backs after jury? They can’t send HG home to the open world and then bring them back right ?
That’s why you usually find out very early in the season if they’re going to do any kind of battle back. Because they announce it to us of course and then the HG do not go home they sequester them until they do the battle back. I can’t remember though if they give them the goodbye messages or don’t.
They put them in separate sequesters and then the first evictees get to battle out to come back but that usually results in them getting voted out again the next week. But if that happens Julie doesn’t give them any info in their exit interview and they don’t see good-bye messages.

How funny is it that the 2 who spoke so loudly about “If I win The veto I’m not going to use it” are now begging Kamu to use it.
Again it was just a few hours earlier today Haley again said if she won the HOH she was not going to use it. She was going to leave nom’s just the way they are. Once Kamu left the room just now Haley looked at Chuk and said if he does not use that veto on me I’m going to be really upset.
We’re 24 hours in, an HOH comp, veto comp, and Thog is STILL parroting about the vote and who is lying and still repeating “I don’t care anymore though and I’m done talking about it” – are Thog and Chuk genuinely that far gone and delusional and have that little self-awareness? How long are they going to keep talking about this while simultaneously saying they don’t care anymore ?!
EDIT: Thog bragging to Kamu about how intuitive she is and how she knows things. Girl just back the bags.

I have no problem with Dee and Devens personally, but yeah if they were smart they would actually try to put one of them up
in actuality it is not that smart to do. they thing devens has a power and they think it is for only a certain amount of time and it is. if he uses it he will take down himself or dee and then he will put up drew or someone else
If Kamu is the reason that Devens ends up on the Block he could always put Kamu up. The only person safe I believe is the HOH.
No I dont believe that is the case. If you win the POV you have the same perk as winning the HOH on being guaranteed safe for the week so he cant put up LaLa or Kamu.

Omg yes it looks like Haley or Chuk will go home regardless because Kamu is more than likely not using it. So a great chance that if Haley wins the BB Chuk goes home, if Chuk wins the BB Haley goes home and if Barrett wins Haley goes home.

This week will definitely tell what side Kamu plans to go. At least for the next week or two.

Devins and Dee really should have watched Angela’s bb season… She is not a good player, you would think after one season of bb and amazing race, and with two other icons in there she would play the game better… they should have kept Rach, if she was there she would have cut Angela the first week…

Also she is in good graces with Kamu. Keeping Kamu is good for her. If he wins an HOH he will take a shot at Angela and Chuk and Haley (assuming Haley somehow stays this week). Kamu will act as a number for her and a shield in the future. It’s foolish for her to take him out after this went down.
Sooner or later, the rest of the house has to take their shot at the three icons. I understand why Lala did not do it, but it has got to be soon. If one of them does not win HOH next time, the winner definitely needs to take their shot. They need to gather the remainder of the house and say it’s now or never. Does Devens power allow him to change all 3 noms or just one?

Last night I saw Haley telling Chuck that she would use the veto on him if she gets it and how she is ready to go home.
Now she is telling Angela how she is ready to “die on that hill” for the sake of the alliance and how she has played her game with honesty blah, blah, blah.
To me it just looks like she got her feelings hurt really bad and she is realizing that not everyone holds her gameplay in the same high regard that she does so she wants to quit.

To be honest, although people may dislike him, he’s important for the season. He’s a good shield during the beginning of Jury phase. And people can talk to him. Meanwhile Haley is not well liked, people can’t talk to her easily as she snaps on everyone and is not great to watch. And Chuck…what a waste of character; it’s better for him to be eliminated now, then lose a shot later.
I don’t think lala has thought that far ahead and I certainly do not believe her “I’m just playing dumb” game plan.
But when she has to make a renom someone might whisper in her ear and suddenly that will become what she was planning all along.
So anything is possible.
For her résumé, it’s better for her to stand up for herself, because later it can pay out.
