Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s veto day in the Big Brother house and it’s a pretty big day for Jason as he’s the target this week, so he has to hope for a few things to happen, all starting within the next hour or so as of typing this. The house is being woken up now, but Jason’s first hope will be getting picked to play veto. If that doesn’t happen, he can essentially skip to prepping for blockbuster because he’ll almost certainly be playing in it. I dont’ know what two players who could be picked who would ignore Kamu and just keep noms the same should they win veto.
And that leads me to talking about the power structure of the house, again. There is so much talk from Drew, Melody, Barrett, etc about how Kamu and the idols run the house, but they’re not doing anything about it. To be fair, there is literally nothing they CAN do until one of them actually wins HoH, so I guess being aware of your impending doom is better than getting caught off guard? Maybe?
Meanwhile, Devens won DPOV, which means over the next 6 weeks, after the veto meeting is done, he can pull out his veto and not only save someone, but name the replacement nom (anyone but HoH and PoV winner). I’m unsure if he’d be able to re-nom the person saved by veto until I hear the actual card read.
Either way, he and Dee are pretty safe basically until jury because even if they feel threatened, Devens can pull the threat card that keeps him safe. The problem with BB vs Survivor is ‘flushing out a power’ doesn’t happen nearly as often. Likely due to how much time it takes between evictions, where you end up overthinking your move rather than just doing it. But if Devens even tells them what his power is, nobody is going to nominate him to force him to use it because the only people brave enough to make that move are aligned with him. So he can literally just sit on the power and not ever need to use it.
On the bright side, he and Dee are my two fantasy picks. On the bad side, them just running the house all season makes for a more boring season. Let’s hope fans change it up next week and vote someone other than Dee for the chance at a power. That said, the one really good power is already gone so I guess it doesn’t matter who wins. At this point, I am rooting for punishments.

I’ve always thought they should take some time to get to know each other before starting a bunch of alliances and Taylor is using that strategy so good for her.
But she’s also using that “I just want to make it to jury” line that is so annoying.
Is Taylor really working on an alliance or trying to gather information? Devens and Kamu seem to be answering her questions honestly as far as I know. Lala needs to be on the Voice. Angela is on my last nerve tonight.
Angela so far this season has really turned it around but I knew was only going to be a matter of time before her true colors came to surface and would be rubbing not only the HG but us the viewers the wrong way.
I was rubbed the wrong way the minute I saw her coming into the game but then she seemed to have kind of chilled but her paranoia is back so she can go any time. She’ll be even worse when she’s a have not.
That’s why I said in no way should they tell her about the red corner because not only will she blow up everybody’s game she’s going to think everybody’s conspiring against her because she didn’t know about one Alliance.
She’s going to really lose it when she finds out Devens won the power and he and Dee are keeping it secret.

I just turned on the feeds and Haley is really upset with herself and telling Kamu he can put her on the block tomorrow if he needs to because she screwed up and outed an alliance because she thought Dee was giving her the go-ahead and she wasn’t. Did anyone see what happened with that?

I’m not really sure I have not been keeping up too much with tonight’s feeds only seeing them here and there. But it could possibly be that Haley even though she was not in the alliance outed the Honor Society Alliance between Dee Angela Taylor and Lala.
She was really apologizing to Kamu and Devens so I think it must have been Red Corner or Crossovers.
I did not catch that very interesting but I think Kamu still plans on putting Jason up as a replacement nom.
I don’t understand why Haley is always bringing up ladies menstruation cycles. Almost always unnecessary. Few exceptions, PERIOD.

They can move to other beds if available. The first week Haley slept in the HOH with Dee. Devens shared a bed with Barrett. The others stayed in there, but they gave them comforters. I guess to help pad it some.
This last week they all just stayed in there.
Eventually there will be plenty of beds for all.

Seems like they did. The HN room is where the 3rd bedroom used to be. The gym is where the HN used to be. A couple of years they had the gym stuff there by the bathroom but I guess it was too small. Last year they had more beds in that open bedroom.
The first week on Wednesday there were many comments made by the HG’s that there were sleeping bags in the SR for them. But it sounds like from the comments made that they were able to find places to go.
They thought they were sleeping bags but turned out to be comforters.

Jason did come up w/a plan w/Lala I think yesterday were they are going to go to each 1 of the players they don’t like (mainly meaning Tool Shed) & start dropping bits of fake info to ea 1 to try to pin them against each other. This is a plan that Jason has put in motion a cpl days ago.
Telling Angela about an existing alliance not a good move she’s going to start thinking they’re working against her, that they’re conspiring. She will start to unravel & blow up everyone’s game. Don’t do it!

The blockbuster makes it harder to get a backdoor target out but it does make the game more interesting.

Yes she does have it. The problem I have is I have three windows open on my computer trying to watch the feeds so I have one window that has all 4 cameras up I have one window with camera 1I have one window with camera 4 so unfortunately I can only have the volume on one to understand what anybody is saying but I’m watching the screen that has all 4 cameras. So unfortunately sometimes I miss some things that are being said. I jump the volume back & forth as to which looks like it’s more game talk.

They are already in a 6 person Alliance with them. Barrett and Drew are a part of the 8 person alliance

I LOVE Dee, and I’m a huge Survivor fan so I also love Devens. I’m glad he got the power on this week.
But I think it would be hilarious to see Dee have one of the punishments. I think she would take it really well and have fun with it.
I love Dee; however, I don’t want her voted next week bc they already have leverage and stuff and have experience on reality shows and are in the best spots to win. They don’t need a chance to win a dang power to even make their chances even higher which I don’t see either leaving before jury, and I would put lots of money on it

Apparently Jason got picked as a veto player. The best he can do if he happens to win is leave the noms the same. He’s an idiot if he doesn’t and it’ll be hilarious if that happens.

That is not the case. If you win the veto, you cannot go up and stay on the block on eviction night at all. The Power of Veto doesn’t just grant you the ability to take someone off the block; it also guarantees your safety for the week.
The veto winner is safe unless they are already on the block and don’t use it on themselves, which would be really stupid (Marcellas). But they can’t be a renom.

If Jason wins it and takes Lyric off the block, Lala will lose her mind since she is the one that picked Jason to play. Plus Jason did promise to take her off the block if he won. So if you want fireworks Jason taking Lyric off the block will cause those fireworks.

So Jason will be participating, if he wins he is safe and can cause a lot of trouble if he leaves lyric on the block doesn’t pick anyone, then that would be Lala lyric and Mallory in the block buster which would be interesting in itself, but if he does remove someone I see melody going up or Taylor which would be interesting too…

I was surprised at how nice Rome seemed to be in both his eviction conversation and on the show last night. He can actually genuinely laugh at himself, which is a big deal in my book. Didn’t like him on the show, but I have a different opinion of him now. Hope he really is a good guy even if I don’t have a clue what he sees in Lyric.
Also good to see another side of Jason. I guess his mother really did die, he wasn’t lying about that.

I’m thinking if I were a Survivor watcher I might like Devens and Dee better but I just see them as having an unfair advantage, like Angela.
I do watch Survivor and Dee and Devens were not my favorites. I didn’t hate them, but didn’t root for them either and was not sorry to see them voted out.
I wasn’t thrilled that they were coming in to BB but have really enjoyed them so far. They are having fun and making it fun to watch.
I don’t think either of them will win this season. Listening to Angela will be their downfall. Hopefully they figure that out sooner than later.

TBH, lowkey, I want Jason to win the veto… he uses it on Lyric then Kamu puts up Taylor then Mallory wins BB then LaLa gets sent packing bc I am over her attitude at this point. Not saying I like Jason, but Lala is lowkey pointless doesn’t win comps doesn’t have a social game not making pitches for alliances. Also I want Jason to win HOH just because these past couple of weeks have been (yawns). I need some excitement, see some big names have to compete for safety and stuff, like throw up Chuk, Kamu, Haley. Angela, Dee, Devens (which in actuality would probably send one of them packing unless Devens uses the diamond veto on himself, Dee/Angela wins the POV, and the other one wins the block buster but lowkey doubt it – so the most realistic scenario if that happened would be sending Angela home bc she thinks people like her in the house but in reality the only ones that fully trust her are Dee and Devens. I already know people are going to downvote (which I find harsh just because it is strategic gameplay, it is not like I am saying anything bad about people) this because they like Dee and Devens (I love Dee), but it’s my opinion, and I wish people could respect that lol (strictly looking at it from a game move).
I have downvoted you but it has nothing to do with who I like on the show. It’s about how you come at people and I’m sorry but you absolutely do “talk bad” about some of the houseguests. From the last 2 threads here are some examples (and I’m using all caps where you did, lol, another thing that’s icky imo). You used the words NASTY, CRAZY, GROSS about houseguests and then there was “HALEY IS AN UNBEARABLE HUMAN BEING.” You have responded to other people’s comments with “you said last time you respectfully disagree,” “you think Angela won the vote because people don’t like her, HUH??????” You have also made ridiculous statements about the game like when Devens got the power: “guaranteed jury with this cast.” Long time Junkies know a LOT about how BB works. Way more than me. This isn’t FB or any other social media platform in that it is strictly about the game. And last but not least, you keep complaining about how the season is boring, you want more drama, etc. My dude, IT’S WEEK THREE!

I’m saying this gently without candor or anger, but when you reintegrated that I had already said “that I respectfully disagree” it felt like it was condescending and judgmental because I had already said it once. Well Kari, I appreciate you responding and saying that rather than just flat out make me look like a villain like someone just did. I understand now that it may have come off as judgmental, but that was not the tone I was trying to send. So apologies on my part for that. I am just in aw how I am made a evil person by some – not you – when I am using quotes from houseguests in the show. It is like they thought of those things to say.
Can I just say that you need to stop taking downvotes personally. It usually just means that others don’t agree with your opinion. Which is fine. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
What is different is when you get personal.
You seem to be new here. As GingerSnap said This isn’t FB or any other social media platform where posters fight among themselves. It is fine to respectfully disagree with an opinion and share your own, but not to make it personal. These are long term rules of this site and can get you banned.
And I know you probably think that Kari and GingerSnap were attacking you personally, but I truly believe they were just trying to help you understand the downvotes and explain the rules of this site.

Colby, I really only took it personally from GingerSnap tbh it is not about the opinion on who we are rooting for. The thing that personally hurt was the fact that I got singled out and shamed for using quotes said in the house by houseguests on the live feeds and I was made to look like I was calling you guys them or made them all up and just talked badly about the housemates; that is what I found really hurtful, but I am over it. But thanks, and yes, I agree everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I totally agree
Like Colby said, don’t take the down votes personally. Honestly, disregard them. Not everybody is gonna agree with you one way or the other. You participate in this forum for you and not anybody else. Express your opinions! Just be as respectful as you can. If you need your comments to be a little more saucy, there are other websites for that.
Just in case it has not been mentioned about down votes in past seasons we have had people come on the site and just give down votes just to give them they are not regular posters here we refer to them as thumby. We haven’t seen them much early on and maybe Steve’s site improvements have limited them any way just something to consider when you get a down vote.

Steve you are right about the rest of the powers being ho-hum. I see Replay valuable only if you have the power AND are HOH so you can have a second week. Punishments will be amusing.
