It’s Monday in the Big Brother house which means the week is nearly over, and really used to be until Blockbuster. However, we now know for sure who will be going home this week

Yes, for some reason, Devens decided to pull Lyric off the block which is a stupid move. Not critically stupid, but also not smart. He now left the door open for Lyric and Rome to remain in the house by Rome winning Blockbuster. I hope that happens because I love seeing dumb moves made worse by the worst case happening.
There is going to be a lot of campaigning this week, but it’s likely to be for nothing. Rome has to win BB or he’s gone. No way around that. If he does, Jason probably leaves. If not, he’s gone.
But I mean just after the meeting, Rome is already chatting with Lyric. Their breakup seems to be in the past, and he says he no longer cares. Nor should he. He got what he wanted and now he needs to win the comp. No real need to stage a breakup and spend potentially the last few days fake hating each other.
And last week was a mental comp, so this week is either more physical/dexterity or luck.
Alright let’s get into the updates…
The experience of being a “have not” is built into BB! LET HER EAT SLOP! (Ya know, instead of cake) and (her being LaLa)
Wait, Lala doesn’t think she should ever be a Have Not?! Yeah, I see now why she’s not very popular, lol.
A part of me thinks it’s her strategy to cook good food in the kitchen, so people won’t want her to be a have not because then she couldn’t cook? Or at least use that in her case

I just saw a little skit that Dee & Devens did when Dee was HOH where they’re talking to the camera telling Jeff Probst to come save them they were being held hostage That was the funniest thing I have seen in quite some time.

And there it is, Dee approached Angela to tell her she thought they should get rid of Melody. I knew thats why she wanted her left otb and thats why she was annoyed when the plan kept changing yesterday.
Is Dee sweating a slippery strategist (Melody) cutting ties on a sinking ship (like she did with Mallory), or is it just the classic case of a pretty face threatening to steal the queen bee’s spotlight?
I can’t see Dee worrying about a pretty face. She’s all in on the game and can see that Mallory is pretty smart.
Yes I think Dee is CLOCKING it. Plus with the way Mel came to Dee during Dee’s HoH…Mel left a bad taste in Dee’s mouth for sure
Noooooooooo….. But I don’t see Devens changing his mind, especially now he’s cooking up an alliance without Dee.
I hated that reset button in season 16 but I kind of wish they had one now because this week has been a huge mess.
I was afraid of that. Hopefully the others won’t agree. It would be a huge mistake.
Again, someone having the chance to break up a showmance and doesn’t take and doesn’t take it yes, it could happen, but the odds are much better one goes home when both are OTB players continually making this mistake is starting to make me think stupid is contagious.
I don’t know about contagious, but this is a beginners mistake. If I’d watched enough of the show, they’d know better.
The thing that gets me and while this is probably not the case with Devins is how many of the people who are self-proclaimed super fans come in and make this exact mistake.
I just wrote this on the previous post but since people probably won’t be reading it I’m going to do it again here.
As much as I can’t stand Jason and his over the top antics for attention, Rome definitely needs to be the one to go. I know I’m old but I’m tired of watching them make out.
I really wanted to like her because I’ve always loved her dad’s songs, but she’s using her body to get ahead and I’m a fearing we’re going to have another shower summer if we don’t get rid of them now. But then again she’ll probably move on to someone else. (I know I really shouldn’t say that)
Kari check this though, if she’s just going to bounce to another showmance, then the house should boot her straight to the Love Island auditions where her heart truly belongs. However, we absolutely need to keep Rome’s smarmy, camera-mugging anti-hero chaos in the game; otherwise, this mega-alliance stays painfully safe, and we’re doomed to watch coasters like Angela, Chuck, and Yash sleepwalk through the next 73 days.
Don’t feel bad. I 95% think she’ll hook up with Chuk if Rome leaves. I wonder if Dee is feeling dumb because she bought into the breakup hook, line and sinker. I love Devens on Survivor but come on dude, tell me you don’t know BB without telling me you don’t know BB. That was a dumb move and if it doesn’t come back to bite him I’ll be shocked. I won’t be shocked if Angela turns on the icons eventually though. And I’ve been hearing they’re turning on Drew. Why? He tells them everything. Just because they may not like what he tells them doesn’t make him the bad guy.
A Chuk rebound is bound to gain traction, especially since early power-player Dee bought that fake Rome and Lyric split without catching the acting. As for Devens, he’s learning fast that a 39-day island sprint is a far cry from a 100-day house stint; and since he can’t dig up a backyard idol to save his skin, his only lifeline is an epic Angela meltdown to let the dirty laundry spin. Meanwhile, they’re already turning on Drew because being a spineless megaphone doesn’t make you a VIP, it just makes you an easy casualty. Give it a week and he’ll volunteer as the “safe” pawn for the crew—that classic block-warming fool who happily smiles for the house right up until he’s walking out the front door without a clue.
I like Drew so I hope not.
Lyric and Chuk? Really?! I mean I believe you because you watch the feeds, but dang! Maybe it’s because I never hear much about him doing or saying anything, while ol’ Rome is everywhere and thinks he’s running the joint, lol.
I haven’t seen a lot of the feeds but I’ve heard and seen it talked about elsewhere that she’s been heavily flirting with him.
I’m sure at least some of his over-the-top stuff is being egged on by production BB does like their stereotypes. I can’t remember who it was or which season it was but there was a black girl there who after she was evicted talked about production wanting her to do some of the mad black woman stuff with the loud talking and shaking her back forth when she was talking and waving her hands around
Producers tried trading Kemi’s laid-back personality for a tired, scripted sassy character in the edit, only for the live feeds to expose the whole manufactured stunt. Season 21

Melody has potential reading the room, but how can she progress into later weeks if she is always on the block and absolutely trusts (will not really work) with anyone?
So I am sitting here trying to think about why the vets mainly Dee and Devens are really starting to lose their mojo. Then I thought this is day 14 for them. If this were Survivor this game should be halfway over. Also, maybe the fact that they are actually able to eat might be messing with their brains & bodies. Maybe they should just stay on slop. LOL
I think they are too busy having fun and just don’t care. That is until the other side gets power, hope this week.
True. And maybe they are relaxing too much because they think they don’t have to play so hard because they have plenty of time.
They also need to stop listening to Angela so much and realize it wasn’t her great strategy that got her so far in the game before. It was because she was not a threat, just a number, and easy to get rid of when the time was right.

It’s my understanding based on convos in the house that Dee watched the last 2 seasons in sequester.
@GingerSnap So actually just a couple minutes ago Dee did admit she did watch during sequester Angelas season and she started 16 but didn’t finish it. She was asked did you like Angela on her season and he said NO!
I don’t know why anyone would listen to Angela, she’s way too emotional and paranoid. They must not have watched her season.
I know for a fact Dee has not watched any big brother there is a Instagram post that her manager put out there after she was already in the house with the whole story behind it. As for Devens not sure but don’t think so.
I have to say, for a guy who’s job is literally beating people up, Kamu is a really cool guy.
Can somebody inform Big Brother that we are not watching Love Island I don’t even like the show Love Island so I definitely don’t care to watch it on BB.
Unfortunately, BB production loves their showmances! But do they really have to be on all 4 cameras?

It’s way too much love Island. Lyric and Rome, Mel and Drew, heck I even saw something that showed Dee and Barret (Totally doubt that one).
Dee and Barrett were kind of snuggling there for a day or so. But somebody called it out to them and told them it needed to stop and they haven’t since.
Dee and Barrett were hugging on each other but no kissy-kissy.

I don’t watch any of the hookup shows because those couples rarely last. The only showmances I found tolerable on BB were Jeff and Jordan who I don’t believe made out at all and Tyler and Angela who didn’t start fooling around til around week 7.
