Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s Friday in the Big Brother house and first, let me give Lala a MAJOR shoutout! In my post last night, I gave a tier system, and Lala wasn’t even close, but not only did she prove me wrong there, she went on to win the entire wall competition! That’s an incredibly impressive accomplishment for anyone, let alone against those still inside the house.
There have been some seasons when the remaining players were so weak that it was basically a comp between 2-3 people from the start, but this season had a solid 6-8 legitimate contenders for this competition, including Mallory. She is tiny, yet super incredibly fit and strong. She works out all the time, and was the favorite by many to win this comp.
Now, let’s not pretend Lala isn’t in shape. She’s also ripped. Her body is crazy. But I think most expected that due to her age, she’d wear out quicker than the younger people, but I’m stupid and forgot she’s the one who runs up and down the stairs in the house all day to keep in shape.
Anyway, now that she won, she was originally going to go after Devens, which would have been smart as it would have flushed out his power, but she settled on trying to backdoor Haley this week while putting Drew, Barrett, and Kamu up on the block first. While the noms aren’t bad, she really should have at least put Devens on the block to start the week.
Speaking of Haley, her bad week also got worse because she went from HoH to the HN room as she’ll be joining Chuk and the two block buddies Drew and Barrett on the spinning wheel for the week. It may be a fun week to watch Haley melt down if you’re not a fan of hers (and I know many aren’t).
What do you think about the initial noms? Do you agree with them or would you put up someone else?
Also, quick note on comments. I know some of you haven’t gotten along, but I am not going to delete comments that aren’t violating rules. However, I do notice that I forgot to add mute/block in the comments, so I will be working on adding that this weekend so if someone is annoying you, just mute them. Look for that to be up this weekend

Chuck visited the HOH room a little bit ago and tried to tell lala that she didn’t understand what is going on and she actually told him that she has just been pretending to be clueless and that was her game plan all along.
Now Angela is sucking up to lala so hard it is embarrassing.
Oh Mallory, I had high hopes for you winning a prize.
I thought they said that Taylor would be next but then they said it was Mallory.
So I guess we will know for sure on Sunday.

LaLa just can’t think for herself. She changed with what each person came in and said. It just happened that Kami was the last person in there so he got what he wanted. Nice lady but I don’t have much respect for her game play.h

I am actually surprised that Angela, Dee or Devens didn’t make sure to check in with Lala before she made her final decision. I think they definitely would have persuaded her to change the noms.
To me the problem with putting Haley on the block now is not just that she’ll have 2 opportunities to pull herself off, it’s that they’ll have to deal with her all week being a B about it – wth is LaLa thinking?!

Not only would she have two opportunities to save herself, there could be someone left who would also save her.
Better to tell her that she is 100% safe and then renom her and show her where the backdoor is!

And you are right, I think lala will be happy with whatever happens, as long as someone tells her she is happy.
I don’t think she realizes that Haley holds a grudge and if she stays lala will have a big target painted on her back.

I just want to share a thought I have about what a yo-yo Yash has been and is being. He’s been upstairs & in the HOH bashing Drew horribly. Absolutely nothing nice to say about him. Taylor says she’s had to talk with Drew he understands he’s talked too much and needs to reel it in. Next thing you know Yash loves working with Drew doesn’t think he should go on the block unless they have to make him a secondary pawn if somebody comes off. Then goes downstairs into the pod room and acts like him and Drew are BFFs. I actually have a lot of thoughts about a lot of these players right now. However, Mel does a really good job of reading people and is able to articulate that into her updates. So I am leaving all that to Mel.

I am really surprised about Chuk. Hearing LaLa and Taylor last night there was no way. And Chuk is really going to be shocked.
Oh I’m sure Chuk’s mouth is going to hit the floor and it will be a priceless thing to see on Sunday. This is why people always say you have to be the last person in the room before noms.
I’m gonna be really bummed Kamu isn’t up there, but Chuk going up instead helps, as will Haley and Chuk feeling the pain of the block all week, lol.
Right now I am predicting we are going to see Kamu & Yash as the final 2.

Lala said earlier my HOH means nothing if I don’t get out my target (Haley). Well Lala you just tanked your HOH on Day 1! Good job.
Why is Lala believing this nonsense that Kamu is spewing? He put her on the block, and now she believes he wants to work with her?? As soon as it is convenient to turn his back on her, he will. And now Haley is going to have two chances to take herself off the block. Taylor, wake up fast, and tell Lala this is a really bad plan!!
bc its true lol. Kamu got burned and doesnt trust the other side anymore. it is foolish for lala to target him. kamu will target them too so having strong people on her side makes sense. Chuk and Haley are both numbers so regardless its good. Kamu is completely done with that side. It is now Lala, Yash, Kamu, and Taylor with Drew and Mallory being the two on the outside for the final 6. Melody and Barrett, I bet will be used as an easy option to be on the block this year, I fear, so that will leave Devens, Dee, Angela, Chuk and or Haley as the only 4 left on that side. That is what happens when blindsides take place.
Well your theory didn’t last long. Kamu Chuk and Haley had a nice long conversation tonight and they’re all good again.
Unfortunately, Taylor just agreed with it all. Apparently, none of them are thinking straight. They need to get Angela back up there. If you are going to take away the pawns then you get kamu Haley and Chuk up there on the block. She should have waited & back door Haley but Lala has made it clear she does not know how to play this game. Not one of the people up in that bedroom that changed the nominations thought for one second about the BB on Thursday.

I’m watching these feeds right now & I just want to scream at my computer. You have Kamu up in the HOH losing his mind wanting to put all kinds of people up on the block bc they lied to him yesterday to his face. Did you not just lie to Drew’s face for six days? So why are you any better? Also Yash has a lot of nerve to be calling out Drew for telling things he heard when Yash was and still is doing the same exact thing. Yash is playing every corner of this house and he’s going to do it gliding right to the final two.
So who even is a consideration for the block atm it has shifted so many times. I think it would be smart if its Kamu, Chuk, and Barrett.

As of now, I’m holding out hope for Haley. What a huge miss for Lala not to recognize the three headed hydra that has been comfy in the HoH room since day one.
So I got back this afternoon from a week spent in a tent in the Lake District (I’m totally getting too old at 52 to be pretending a stiff bit of rolled up 1 inch foam on the ground is a bed. And waking up to the delightful smell of cow pats in the morning is no longer my thing) I think I’m all caught up on episodes and updates/convos on here and jokers. I feel like I’ve just done an endurance comp trying to make sense of it all. What the hell WAS this week?
Few points before I go to bed till Monday lol
Hayley – yuk! But that blindside was worth it. Oh the satisfaction on seeing her face!
Kamu and Chuck- pathetic adults who were basically laughed at by a grown woman acting like a little girl with a crush on them. Yikes!
Melody – I still think she’s hilarious with her comments and expressions.
Taylor – I wanted to like her but she’s kind of boring now. Hopefully she’ll get some energy as the season progresses.
I’m not surprised Lala won the wall. They used to take forever on these comps and now it’s more like a race to see who can drop first. Remember when endurance would last into early hours? Lala is old not weak.
Angela is STILL ruining this entire season. And the longer she’s there the more big headed she’s gonna get. Wish she was gone but she still deserves to be there more than Chuck and Yash who together make the “flock wallpaper” alliance.
One last thing. I’ve noticed on social media everyone is arselicking Jason. This annoys me cause it’s Taylor mark 2.0. Show you’re an awful person (in Taylor’s case it was more that she just did nothing but drape herself over everything for the mens attention than being horrible), get bullied, have the fandom rally round (rightly so), get turned into some sort of saint that can’t do anything wrong. Like seriously, you can stand up for someone being treat like garbage without turning them into the second coming. Jason showed what type of person he was when he LAUGHED AND BRAGGED about using his dead mam to manipulate Angela. Yuk! Rant over lol
Lalas noms are rubbish. Even if she gets out Haley or Kamu it’s still boring to put up Drew and Barret.

Lala winning HOH this week added a nice twist to a season I’m already enjoying. Whatever she does at least the house got shaken up. I wish the nominees were Kamu, Yash and Haley. If Haley were to win the veto comp, I’m not sure what the backup plan would be.
Angela is definitely playing smarter this season, but I’m not sure if she’s with Haley or against her.
I agree with your noms. Oh and Angela and Dee are getting annoyed by Haley (who isn’t) and on board for her to go. Pretty much the whole house wants her out. Along with every BB fan from what I see, ha!

I have t agree with you, I am happy that LaLa won and all, but she is not playing this correctly, as with her winning this comp of all comps one can not predict who will win comps but besides this once in a lifetime win, we know Angela might do the same… otherwise I would take out Kamu, or Yash as a number, Drew was burnt by them and seems to have woken up a bit… Devin still has a power he needs to play, which has a time limit… Dee’s power does not… LaLa has to wake up and see that Chuk is playing with Thog and Kamu, and she is not part of that group… But if the stars line up maybe a plus will happen…
I can’t wait to see Yash (and his 3 different hairstyles of sides, top, back) on the block. He’s just way too comfortable!

Wish someone would have won HOH who would have put big threats up. Lala has to ask Taylor what to do (she doesn’t know how to play the game). Taylor rolled her eyes the other night when Lala was asking her what to do.

Lowkey I am not happy with her decisions. She needs Drew to be a number. DO NOT HAVE HIM ON THE BLOCK. Like I know Lala is smart but how can she not see that Drew is not a number for the other side of the house anymore and that he is easily the bottom of the totem pole. She needs to put up Devens, Kamu, and Barrett, or Haley, Kamu, and Barrett. That is, if she really wanted to make a massive move. Taking out Drew is just doing the dirty work for the other side of the house because that is who they want out. It is so aggravating! Drew is no threat to Lala you guys are both on the outskirts. She is in good graces with Angela and Dee, so I see why she won’t do that. Mallory, Taylor, and Melody, she won’t put up on the block. She already said she won’t put up Chuk. So that leaves 6 people: Kamu, Haley, Devens, Drew, Barrett, and Yash. The one person you cannot put up is Drew. Just put up Haley, Kamu, and Barrett, and say that Drew is the backdoor option – because that is what Dee, Devens, and Angela, etc., all want to hear. Just make a fake target (Drew) but don’t make it obvious.
You need to remember the house pets don’t see/know everything the feeders see.

That is what I was thinking as well on who would be more influential on LaLa’s HOH Taylor or Angela. I want the icons to make to jury their influence will finally have a great jury.

Bravo for LaLa. I would not have thought it either but Kudos to her. Finally, something interesting going on. I hope her HOH doesn’t get s**t on and she gets to do some damage. Some many head honchos to choose from.

I don’t think there is any way she would put up Chuk. Why goes without saying. She and Taylor had that conversation and Chuk even told Haley that last night.

Wow the kitchen control freak is now HOH as well that could get tense in any event Dee and Devans and Angela should be the noms it would flush his power out and when Angela finds out he didn’t share that with her it would likely send her off the rails.
Angela knows dev’s power because dee let it slip… No one knows dee has a power though… and was just reading it: Dee earned the BB Bribe, originating from Big Brother 18 (US). With this power, Dee is allowed to bribe any houseguest $5,000 to make any game move that she wants. It can range from nominating or not nominating specific people, to use or not use the Power of Veto, casting an eviction vote, or throwing a competition. If the houseguest takes the bribe, they must do what Dee asks of them. It can be used once for the entire season.[25]
I didn’t know Dee let that out surprised Angela didn’t go ballistic maybe she really is keeping crazy Angela under control this season.
Yeah Dee and Angela were in a room and Dee was thanking America for Devins… Then Dee told Devins and he was like okay with it… Now how will both Dev and Angela feel about Dee’s powers?
I think they’ll be like damn, that girl can keep a secret! And not hold it against her. They’re all gamers, including Angela on this season imo, and understand only one person can win. I could be wrong of course so I’ll be interested to see how it shakes down.
I’m happy to see Kamu on the block! And boy do I hope someone comes down after veto comp and Hayley goes up and gets backdoored. I wish useless Chuk was on the block though instead of Drew. But overall, I’ll take it, and both Hayley and Chuk as have nots is a bonus!

I’m not so sure. She’s playing a much better game this season. She handled being a HN last week way better than expected and I think it’ll be the same if and when she goes up.

I think Barrett needs a taste of the block since, he did not tell his boy Drew about being a target, even though they are suppose to be F2… Instead of Drew, maybe swap out chuk, this way limits wins…
