It’s nomination day in the Big Brother house, and it’s not a good day for Rome as he was essentially told in not so many words that he is Devens’ target this week so it seems like the Lyric/Rome showmance may be pretty short lived. It’s probabaly better if he leaves anyway, as Lyric probably still has a chance to turn her game around without him, but I think his game is pretty much toast as the guys have all really bonded so far.
Meanwhile, I just had the fun experience of accepting a job from a recruiter who told me it was fully remote which got me to sign the papers. Friday before I was set to start, I get the ole bait and switch where they now want me in office 3x a week. Great thing to do to someone on their literal last day at their old job after the old job already hired your replacement and you trained them.

But I won’t bore you with my personal issues, just throwing that out there.
Inside the house, we may get a lot of feed downtime today if they’re doing that time capsule thing as they typically go one at a time into the DR and then either sit there for ** minutes doing nothing or they compete. Either way, it’s all the same time this way others don’t get suspicious of the one person who was in the DR for 30 minutes while everyone else was in for 5. They SHOULD be able to keep feeds on for this as it’s all happening in secret, but knowing this production crew, we’ll probably get the WBRB message all day.
Angela did promise to Lala that some things will be exposed today so we’ll see how that goes as well, but again, if it’s today, don’t expect to see it.

So much crying…I mean I get it, but can’t you have the decency to cry in the Diary Room, Store Room, or the like?! Seriously though, that’s how I know Rome and Jason are faking it. No way would they be crying like this, literally lying on people with multiple others standing around, if their breakdown was real, lol.

Devens is talking to the camera or kind of himself. Saying he just came to play but now he’s.America’s dad and how tired he was.
I’m sure other people probably know who he was talking to or about but he mentioned something about him being a “sweet kid”.
And now Rome is lying and crying to Lala to try to do damage control. Gag me!
And now crying in front of a few others too.
It seems to be working. They are all pampering him and telling him it’s OK.
And now back to smiles and the tough guy talk about how they don’t know who they f**ked with, etc.

I have said the same thing I ended up turning the volume off all 4 cameras I had open and started watching stuff from my DVR. I only paused my DVR and turned the volume back on when it takes the cameras off the two of them. Unfortunately, that’s how I stumbled across the balling Rome clinging to Lala like a life vest.
This season is going to be one of the most boring seasons EVER. QUIT BRINGING BACK ICONS and putting them with the newbies!!!!!!!!!!!! If you bring back icons, do a full icon season bc they will just steamroll all the dang newbies; it’s ridiculous. It will be Dee, Devens, Drew, Angela, Barrett, Chuk, Kamu, and Hailey Final 8 because the BB Blockbuster just makes it easier for everyone on their side to be safe and they will have the numbers week by week by week by week. Lyric, LaTrice, Melody, Taylor ain’t gonna win a comp. So they have to rely on Yash, Mallory, Rome/Jason (one of which will be eliminated this week). SICK OF THIS BS

Sorry Steve about the job thing. That really does suck. I actually have found myself recently unemployed. For the first time in 28 years I do not have a job. And not going to lie Don’t know how to handle the whole resume, job search, get out there and look for a job thing anymore. I do wish you the best of luck and finding what you need.

Steve, sorry to hear about the job stuff. I am very happy to be retired and don’t miss all the BS , but getting old sucks too.
I’m a true believer in things happening like they are supposed to (even if we don’t understand it at the time). In hindsight, when those type of things happened me it seems that it was ‘stepping stones’ to get me to where I was supposed to be.
Hopefully it all works out for you.

So far BB isn’t disappointing, we just need Angela/Jason to blow up.
I’m really hoping Angela holds off for a while. I love BB, but i am definitely team Survivor. If Angela stays cool, she could be a major asset for Devens and Dee. Jason, on the other hand, is dead to me. he can self sabotage all he wants.

I’m really worried Angela is going to end up blowing someone’s game all to hell. Mostly Devens or Drew’s.
I think Devins and Dee can dodge the blowback because of their Survivor experience. Even though people you vote off are gone right away, the players they’re aligned with aren’t, so I think they can survive an Angela meltdown. They’re close to her and will see it coming so that might help too.
I think that is just a matter of time. It is still way early and Angela is already showing bits of her paranoid self.
Jason’s going to do it before Angela I think!
