I hate my job. No, not this. But my FT job. Okay, that is all for the real life stuff today.
Moving on..
So this week has been … well, a week, I suppose. It was definitely strange with the feeds going down from Thursday night until Saturday night only to turn back on in the weirdest moment which was after they got their veto outbits but before they actually played the contest. We were all guessing what was going on that night because BB told them to not talk about the twist so the players didn’t talk about much at all.
Yash won the veto, and Devens foolishly punched his own ticket by volunteering to be a pawn. Literally one of the dumbest moves you can make in this game, but he did it. And, that is going to be his demise as even Dee is thinking of just voting him out. I mean, you have to. He WAS playing the best game of the season so far. If he’s sitting there in the chairs for vote, you have to evict him.
It’s been going back and forth who to evict between Lala and Taylor if Devens win BB (he probably won’t. It’s the rope comp and Lala will likely win). But if that happens, I really don’t know because I spent my morning getting lectured at work. Okay one last bit there, enough of that place.
But, after tonight, final 8. Then we will likely get another double eviction within the next week or two. Maybe a true double, maybe a 2x in a week double. Or maybe nothing and they do a triple. Either way, they need to evict 5 people in 3 more Thursday nights after tonight.
Let’s hope tonight is a fun one!
I don’t really understand the hate for the Icons. They are just 3 people. It’s the other players fault that the Icons are still there and going strong. You just have to outplay them and team up against them. Simple math, 3 isn’t enough to evict someone in the first half of the season. If anything, be pissed at the m***n players that kept the icons around and listened to every word they said.
Exactly, HGs were happy to hide in their bed, stay in the kitchen cooking all the time or simply avoiding any kind of gameplay while Dee, Devens, kamu and maybe Haley put things in motion that sent threats out the door.
Fast forward to today where over half the HGs are now gone and viewers are complaining constantly that everything has been stacked in the favor of Dee and Devens.
Sure they have been playing a good game but things have gotten to where it is now because everyone else in the house let it play out that way while they hoped to just hang on in the periphery.
And they didnt exactly invite themselves on this season of Big Brother either. Blame production if you have to, but hating them for just being on the show is stupid.
Loving them for just being on the show because you liked them and got to watch them on another show first is also stupid
Excuse me? Who said I watched any of them on another show? I have seen Angela before on Big Brother but have never watched Survivor so don’t know the other two. Even if I had, I’ll like who I want to!
Finally I may see the day that all the icons sit on the block together. Not trying to celebrate yet since it’s not official but it’s looking like that. Barrett should be targeting Dee this week if he is smart!
Personally and good morning everyone…….I feel like they need to stop with the promising of such and such is safe. we’re getting down to the wire and no one is safe so just knock it off people and do what you need to do for your own individual game! Doggone!
Last night after the live show I mentioned that during the BlockBuster they had given lala and taylor blocks to stand on apparently thinking it evened things up and I said that taylor was able to reach down farther than Devens.
I went back and watched it again this morning and as I said, Devens did not have a block.
Taylor could actually get her waist up to the railing and bend her entire upper body towards the tube allowing her to reach all the way down to her name, probably a foot farther than Devens.
Go back and watch the comp again.

When I mentioned the blocks last night someone said that I was wrong and all three had them.
Not gonna throw names out but I couldn’t imagine that I had not seen a block at Devens’ station.
And during the comp, the camera kept changing angles so it was hard to get a good read on it but when I went back and watched it again, it was very obvious.
I don’t think comps are rigged, at least not intentionally.
Besides, so many people on here always say that everything is rigged in favor of the “icons”.
If nothing else, this shows that the deck was stacked against Devens.
Yes Yes fanboy… CBS is probably tired of the entire Country saying that the entire season has been rigged in favor of the icons..and now CBS is reversing the rigging against them lol (hey its possible since 80% of the country now hates the icons for being entitled)

Not that it matters but Michael Jackson named both his sons Prince but he nicknamed the youngest one Blanket for reasons I never got. That’s the one he dangled out a hotel window. he has now changed his name to Bigi.
I thought the media nicknamed him Blanket because nobody knew his name and MJ kept a blanket over his face when they were trying to take pics.
He gave him the nickname blanket because it meant covering him with love and protection. Supposedly.
Barrett is so close to making the interesting play… hes cam talking saying that hes essentially decided fully to nom all 3 icons and renom yash if necessary… says its gonna be tough and then immediately says “but telling them that tomorrow is gonna be another story”… what a boneheaded move. If he doesnt blindside them and gives the players that are *known* for quick scrambling all that time to campaign he might as well forget it. Hes gonna get backed into a corner, the move will overripen on the vine before he can pick it and then he’ll have all the negatives of planning an icon attack with far less of the positives. I really hop he isnt that dumb
No he will do it no matter what even if they get blindsided or not.
I personally think the smartest game move for him is putting up Yash, Dee, and Angela bc he has a final 3 with Devens and Drew

theyre kinda playing fast and loose with this have not thing arent they. Is it always like that? I really dont care for it to be honest. Between the erratic schedule and the fact that theres a damn never not pass in the mix with the other actual powers, I feel like have nots is just lazily executed
They seem to go back and forth on it after a few weeks. Seems completely pointless by this point.
There was a time when it was heavily enforced and the viewers even picked the slop. I vaguely recall feeling at Ill at something to do with sardiines/fish. Those were the days lol
So Barrett…the same one said he’s playing for real now (for pq) and said he is taking out the icons….now that he has to do this in public will fall. He doesn’t have the courage to put up the icons when they can talk to him and respond to him. If he did I would like him a lot more but he doesn’t. He will put up Taylor Yash and Angela. Maybe I am wrong…we will see 🙃
If he does that I’m gonna annoy a LOT of people on here with my constant Barrett bashing for the next few weeks. On the other hand if he puts up the icons all at once at a noms ceremony he might be the hero of my…… well week at least lol

I wouldn’t blame her. The blokes this season have the willpower of a drunk in a brewery. Lyric wrapped them round her little finger, Dee did it to Barrett till the Mallory nom made him see the friend zone flashing neon sign, Melody’s been doing it to Drew. At least none of them have done the Taylor sleep with someone for a vote……… yet!!
Did she do that for the vote? I thought she was just bored. Either way working her way through Monte, Joseph and Kyland is gross.
It might have been after Monte put her on the block and she wanted the POV used on her and he’d won it. Either way at the time it was obvious what she’d done. Literally slept with a bloke she’d made clear she had no interest in for vote/veto. It would actually have been one of the all time greatest moves if she’d owned it! Shockingly sleazy but still a great move since it worked. But she didn’t own it so it was just plain nasty.
I guess we can be thankful that the Icons won the day sending lala packing and getting a number away from them. If Slime-Bucket- loser manipulator clown Barrett puts up the 3 Icons, Dee or Devens are sure to win veto, and pull the other off… then the other will win BB and Barrett will have a big swing and a miss. Look what happened today… Devens simply dominated and won and took himself off the block and one of the other numbers went home.. same thing will happen to Barrett the King Weasel of all time….
If all three are on the block, then the winner of the veto will pull themselves off (unless Devens wants to be Mr. Chivalry again). Are you new to BB?

I thought Dee was hilarious and great fun till she was put on the block. I even thought she’d take being nominated as a part of the game and do her best to enjoy the experience. But that was when I stopped liking her. She turned into a depressing Shannen Elizabeth when she could have been a Dan or other past fighter. An advantage that would help win was a player’s height and length of arms. Advantage, shorter distance to hole.
They compensated by giving LaLa and Taylor a platform to stand on. If you watch it Taylor can actually reach further down toward the rube than Devens. So it looked fair to me.

To some extent heat. I saw an article that explained she was actually out there for seven hours doing those comps in whatever that temperature was. The episodes definitely didn’t show THAT. As a cold weather person I’d have been flat on my back after an hour.
I think it’s stupid and ridiculous that they take away time from these episodes where they could be showing Lala more of the goodbye messages or show what’s going on inside the house? But NO! They have to show us who is going to guest star on the BB unlock tomorrow where probably 95% of the viewers can’t stand. CBS use your time better!
CBS is trying too hard to shove that show down our throats. I love Derrick, but between Taylor and Jerry I just can’t watch it. Nothing they do or say is gonna change that.
I like Jerry. Can’t dislike a Stand By Me original, and he was awesome in Crossing Jordan as Woody. But he’s not funny and he reminds me of a really bad/cheesy game show host. BB is just gonna ram Taylor at everyone for years and years. Blame the cult of Taylor fanboys from her season. They made cbs think she was the second coming.
I only know Jerry from the show so I don’t hate him or anything, but he doesn’t add anything to BB unlocked in my opinion.
If you’ve never seen the movie Stand By Me, you really should. If you HAVE, he’s the chubby friend that nearly got caught by the train. And Crossing Jordan was just an awesome show all round.

The whole show needs better front runners. We don’t need a stupid recap telling us WHAT WE HAVE ALREADY SEEN!! We don’t need multiple cast members in the DR explaining a comp multiple times or telling us what we just watched them do. The show is only 44 minutes without adds. Surely there’s enough going on not to waste 5 minutes or more on this…

There’s an episode of CSI in the early seasons where that’s explained and it’s a true thing. But I’m doubtful that’s what Barrett is doing. I think it’s just him doing something he thinks is endearing…….. but really isn’t.
To be honest when he first was on this season I was kind of rooting for him but things have changed. he’s really changed. I don’t know what to make of him.anymore.
I kinda like him more now as a player, because he’s at least playing and not just mooning after Dee. But my problem is , if THIS is his real personality then how pathetic to bring it out just cause he realised he was actually friend zoned with Dee.

Why is everyone on here (only a couple) mad and saying the icons are getting given everything…Devens and Dee are the only ones who made any moves so far. The other houseguests don’t have to vote with them…they can create their own path. It’s just a fact that Devens and Dee are making moves and getting people out at will while the rest of the cast is playing backseat
Because both sides have valid arguments. Nothing you’re saying is wrong. But it’s also true that they came in with instant safety, conveniently won the only decent powers, and when Dee was looking on shaky ground she had Devens convenient power to save her. Which incidentally was the moment I flipped 180 and started being sick of Icon season. But those housemates should absolutely have just lined all three on the block at every opportunity and they didn’t. So they’re as much to blame for them still being there.
What you believe just delends on which side you want to choose. It’s all fun and games though lol
Oh, I don’t know; but being given the first HoH sure didn’t hurt their gameplay. That’s when the whole tone of the season is set.

Yash wins. He puts up Drew, Taylor, & Melody (BB is still in play – but Yash has to piss everyone off, so I’m down for it). Then Drew wins veto. Yash has to put up Barrett. Barrett gets the boot.
It’s double eviction and Drew wins again. He puts up Yash, Dee, & Taylor. Taylor wins veto and is replaced with melody. Yash or Dee gets the boot.
Devis just has to stick it out – because he wins hands down against Angela, Taylor, Melody, or Drew. And from everything I see online, he gets AFP, and I am HERE FOR ALL OF IT!

I’m not going to be two faced and not admit I was like so many others that disliked Mickey last year. She was arrogant and it led to her downfall. I don’t say this to be nasty. I always think it’s best to remember people the way you knew or saw them or it’s not really them you’re remembering. That being said, I never thought she was horrible like I do with some players and I have no doubt she was lovely in real life. Truly heartbreaking to see someone that young pass away.
I always believe that everyone is allowed their own personal feelings. I do not degrade anyone for the way they may perceive somebody in this game. I just felt differently. I liked Mickey & was rooting for her to win last year.

Taylor would make a bigger impact as she seems to be the one telling LaLa what to do. LaLa is better at comps but I am not sure she won’t flip to the other side if Taylor was gone.
I feel Lala would just isolate herself or try to separate Angela from the icons.
It would have been way smarter to get Taylor out. Lala would not have anybody babysitting her and I believe (just my thoughts) she would 100% be working with at least Angela and possibly Dee. The 2 of them would have her so sketched out about Yash and Melody that she would definitely be with them.
So Devens saved himself, I hope he learned from that d*****s move. Something I have never gotten is when an HOH wants someone to volunteer to be a pawn and tells them you’re not my target why don’t they ever tell him yeah, but I could be someone else target and you don’t decide who goes you don’t even vote unless it’s a tie.

Correct when Julie did a run through with two of the producer assistants earlier she did say that you can’t just walk up to the ball pit they have to physically jump in and get a ball. Also only one at a time no matter how many they had available to them.

I think it favors younger and faster, so I think Taylor finally wins one. Sad about Devens, but he really shouldn’t have given himself up, especially with Drew cam talking about putting up Dee (the far better move). Let’s see what happens. Don’t ever doubt/or assume Devens is out. He is RICK F’n DEVENS! He does Rick Devens things. (Just watch the Survivor episode where he did the coin flip not only did he jack up the jackpot to 2 Million dollars but he won safety that night and another immunity idol.
I’m quite disappointed in Devens. He’s smarter than this. I’m also disappointed in many of the comments. I’ve watched both shows since season 1. I enjoy the ones I like and am entertained by them all. These are human beings putting themselves out there for our entertainment. Love them or hate them, I find it good TV.
