As mentioned in my morning post, it’s a pretty huge veto competition today for the house. It’s 5 against 1, so the numbers are not on Nicole’s side, but should she win, she guarantees herself another shot at HoH and a chance to go pretty deep into this game. She’ll also guarantee to shakeup the rest of the house a week earlier than they need to.
There isn’t much more I can say that I didn’t already say this morning (except maybe check out my fundraiser thing), so let’s jump right in…
- 12:25pm – Nicole and Victoria are warming up for the competition. Meanwhile, the rest of the house is in the living room (minus Derrick who is in the HoH room listening to music). Listening to the Nicole cam is annoying because you can hear Christine’s helicopter laugh from the other room. I hate to knock someone for their laugh, but Christine seriously has the worst laugh I’ve ever heard.
- Veto players – Caleb, Nicole, Christine. picked were Cody, Victoria, and Derrick. Frankie is hosting.
- 1:00pm – The guys in the house are worrying about Victoria’s increasing relationship with Nicole. Derrick is just letting them know she’s only doing that because Nicole is another girl. She (Vic) considers Christine one of the guys.
- Caleb – If Nicole wins it, what should we do? I’m putting Victoria up, but do you care more about fame or game? (they’re discussing the option of sending Christine home). Derrick said he likes what Caleb said, they have to split the two up. Frankie is trying to say Christine and Nicole aren’t very close, so he’s clearly on team keep Christine.
- Frankie is in a panic about Victoria possibly winning veto. He goes down to get her and the guys laugh about it. Caleb says “Who’s Victoria?”
- 1:30pm – Caleb is saying best case, Nicole leaves. Worst case, Nicole wins PoV, Victoria goes up and Christine goes home (Derrick’s influence already working)
- 1:40pm – Frankie called to DR. PoV likely soon
- Frankie is out of the DR and says they have about an hour before comp starts.
- 2:30pm – House is still waiting around for PoV
- 2:45pm – Feeds down for PoV
- 3:45pm – Still veto competition.
- 4:45pm – Veto competition still going on
- 5:25pm – Feeds were up for about 15 minutes but my cat decided he needed his after dinner snuggle. Love my cat. Anyway, I have some news for you…
- Christine won the PoV
- 5:30pm – Cody threatens to ‘call someone out’ yet again. I don’t even know who, nor do I care because it will never happen.
- So this week is going to be a real bust. Maybe. Probably. The house is pretty set on getting out Nicole, but we’re at the point of the season where backdoors could happen. I don’t expect them to, but they could. The only possibility is that Derrick wants to keep Victoria off the block, but I’m sure he’d feel secure enough in the Nicole votes to risk it.
- Derrick and Frankie are talking about Team America. Derrick asked the DR if there were any other missions and they said ‘I wouldn’t say that’, but they’ve yet to receive anything. They think the DR is out to screw them now.
- I think they should give Team America a mission that is impossible without 3 people just to screw with them.
- Derrick is trying to rationalize the rejected mission. “Why would his fans screw him out of $5k”.. “With the overwhelming no, maybe the fans just didn’t like it” …. No s**t we didn’t like it, it was HORRIBLE. Throw a play? Serious? Even if Donny wasn’t on the block, that was a horrendous idea for a mission. It’s like they don’t even watch the show. America’s players are about being sneaky. To think ‘create a mission’ would be to throw a play is just stupid. Sorry Frankie, it’s just flat out stupid and that’s why you got an overwhelming NO.
- Derrick finally gets it… “If they didn’t want the Donny thing, they wanted a saboteurish thing”… yes.. how about spread a rumor that Cody was making out with Victoria to see Christine’s reaction.
- Cody’s dino outfit he has to wear for the week
Note – I seen a few comments naturally questioning my fundraising thing. That’s completely understandable. - 6:25pm – I am going to take a little break from the feeds. Not much happening right now, and I don’t expect there to be a whole lot for a few more hours at least.
- 8:35pm – Back to the game. Nicole and Victoria talking on the couch about how much they love Derrick and how he’s been so good to them. Like him or hate him, but Derrick is playing the perfect Big Brother game to date. Not only is he pulling all the strings, but he’s been able to adapt to the new bitter juries we’ve seen on recent seasons. Derrick is guaranteed votes from Nicole and Hayden. Jocasta will probably go with the flow, and Donny will likely respect Derrick’s handling of the season. I can’t praise his social game enough right now. One of the best I’ve seen in a long, long time.
- Nicole says “I don’t even know how to fake laugh” and you know, that perfectly describes Christine’s laugh. I think I’ve actually heard her really laugh and it doesn’t sound like her helicopter laugh. It sounded pretty normal. I’ll have to keep analyzing her laugh to make sure, but I am going to say her helicopter laugh is the fake one.
- 9:00pm – A drunk Caleb and Cody debating with the girls about love at first sight.
- 9:30pm – Caleb and Cody are at the fight stage of being drunk (not each other). Cody is saying how he can take near anyone his size, Caleb is saying he doesn’t like fighting.
- 9:40pm – More yelling from outside. Nicole said ‘Did I hear Derrick’s name?’ Caleb said he didn’t hear what they said
- 9:45pm – Caleb and Cody are up in the HoH room back talking about fighting. It is so hard to take him serious like this.
- The guys are back talking about love at first sight. I think it’s time for bed.

ewww…just when I did not think it could get worse…been busy the last few days..and not watching any more but thought I’d “check in” ..I think they are trying to over compensate after being Frankies mimbos..
I think the fans should come up with the expect the unexpected moment this year. Mine would be the jury house does not like the final two and allowed to submit in a unanimous choice (like its been all season) theirs.

Unless the “unexpected” was having what… 2 endurance challenges so far? I’m pretty sure that in seasons past there is usually about 1 endurance every 2 weeks. Which is really odd, since they have had way more comps this year with the BOTB.
Yeah, even the secret missions of TA is a repeat.
It is still a good show to watch, but they haven’t delivered the goods this year.
Oh for sure, I am not one of the “I’ll never watch again” or “I’m done with this show” type of people. I’ll be watching again next summer. But I do think they could be doing a better job casting and shaking things up.
I think it would be an unexpected twist, to have idk, all fans, that have watched the show, and actually applied for BB, instead of some that applied for survivor, or people who were scouted for being models, actors and such.
A great twist would be to cast a variety of ages, more in the mid age range of 30-45 age range (even 25-45) with only a few kids closer to that 21 age mark. Get the biggest variety of people you can, different parts of the country, different walks of life. And try not to type cast, actually pull from the people cast, don’t have a token gay guy, just to have a gay guy in the mix, find a great gay guy, who loves the game and wants to win.
Sorry, another soap box for me today. It’s just annoying, again, I’ll be watching next year, but a girl can dream.

Well steve it got worse after you went to bed – Frankie played and I do mean played on Cody being drunk – fondling his chest and his a**e as well as Cody fonding Frankie to Mangos a**e – even Caleb saying Cody when you wake up tomorrow your butt is going to hurt – apparently Caleb does not know the definition of bottom vs top – but Mango did – he corrected Caleb and said that it would be his butt that would be hurting – Mango is doing exactly the opposite of what gay men have been trying not to portray over the last decade in order to be accepted by the general public that it is not all about being a man w***e – hopefully the public will just look at it and think that Mango is a pervert and leave it at that. Wonder if Codys Mom and Dad were laughing over little Cody last night – bet his sister was not. Ok – send me the thumbs down over this post – off my soap opera and out of here.
I have to agree with you Rocco. I didn’t even see that part, but PART of what I say to anyone who speaks out against gay people, or well anyone who is homophobic, is it’s not like anyone is going to try to make you gay. I don’t claim to speak for every gay man/person out there, but, I can say that none of my friends are happy with the role model and stereotype gay man that is Frankie Grande.
Frankie is why some guys just aren’t comfortable around gay men. I find it sad, when people seem to act like or think that, idk how to put it other than, they might “catch” being gay. I would say it was sad, but Frankie is just to far gone for me to feel sad for him. He acts like people’s problem with him (or his stupid mission/play) is that he was in drag??? People have a problem with him acting like trash. People have a problem with him using his sisters fame, grandfathers death, any anything else he can find to advance himself in the game. People also take issue to him saying houseguests should r**e other houseguests. I’m sure I could go on all day about how tacky Frankie is, but I’ll just keep in mind, that when he’s out he’ll get to reach and hear from plenty of people how gross of a person he is.
To top off his list of flaws, I find it all too funny that Donny, and most of the others did a much better job “acting” then Frankie (who is a trained/payed actor).

I have met several gay guys because of a gay nephew. Family gatherings are a mix of gays, lesbians, and hetro males and females of all ages
I have never seen a gay or lesbian try and hit on a straight person, evenwith the alcohol flowing. Everyone just has a good time.

The actual BB house is SO boring and mundane and all the personalities I enjoyed (soon to include Nicole as well) are all in the Jury House. Would love to watch them instead of these clowns in the BB house.
I’ve thought that before too. I would pay again for access to the Jury House. Even if they limited it, like didn’t show the bedrooms or something, to give them a little more privacy (I can see not wanting to be filmed 24/7 if you know you aren’t winning 1st or 2nd place). They are still getting paid to be there, might as well let us enjoy it as well.
Plus, I think it would be great to see how they all interact with each other once the money isn’t in their way. Like, will Zach be the nice kid we’ve seen glimpses of, or totally obnoxious? It would help us get why they vote the way they do on finale night.

Jury seems so much more fun..
Nicole said when she was in the jury house BB told Hayden and her to kiss in front of the cameras. So I guess that’s the kiss we saw in the broadcast. So the little we see from the jury house is staged.
I kinda feel like any reaction we see from the jury house has got to be somewhat staged, if for no other reason then the fact that there are camera’s there. I mean lets be honest, sure it’s easy not to think about the camera’s 24/7, but once they head to jury, they KNOW they won’t be on camera, unless there is a crew there. So I’ve always just looked at any interaction we see from jury as somewhat of an interview. They all know in advance, have time to get ready, and so on.
Which is all why I would like to have camera feeds available to the house.
Like I said, they could make it more limited, but like a premium packge, you know, live feeds for the BB house for this amount, but for this much more, get special feeds from Jury. Then just put camera’s in the common areas, so they get at least a little more privacy.

The others joked about sex, but didn’t really say anything about the r**e portion of Frankie’s comments (at least not that I heard). While what Frankie said was disgusting, and hopefully the rest of the houseguests will remember what trash he is when they have the chance to let him know that kind of comment just isn’t ok, to me, it seemed like they all just acted like the “r**e” part wasn’t said, that it was more about a “G*******g” type scenario (which is also gross) and kept joking around.
Derrick made jokes, but not on the r**e level (again, at least what I heard) so while it was pretty nasty of him not to call Frankie out for that kind of thing, I don’t think his job would be at risk. The entire convo was just low class.

Of course it’s just my take on it, and there is always a chance i missed something. But to me, it looked like Derrick was just ignoring the “r**e comment, and playing off of the “g*******g” comment. What he was saying and his gestures, we not good at all, but I think he just ignored the r**e part (which is not good either).
For me, I was much more offended by what Frankie said, obviously, but after him by Christine. Her just sitting there laughing about it… as a female… not cool.
For Cody, he made some comment like “that’s not cool” to Frankie, but kept laughing about it. It looked like Caleb was playing more off Frankie than anyone else. But that’s just what I saw, you might want to check the clip out.

The houseguests like Frankie. He is their radio and tv and internet all rolled into one electronic personality. He is too big for the little tv screen at home. He comes across as brash and obnoxious. Many theatrical performers do not transfer well to the small screen. TV is a “cool medium” and Frankie is a hot personality. If this was theater Frankie would be much less annoying. He is more Judy Garland than Mary Tyler Moore.

The week after Amber was evicted Frankie almost disappeared. He put his personality on low and did not arouse the anger of the Caleb beast.
He should have followed that plan this time around. Instead he has become petulant over America’s rejection. He completely pussed out on the Have-not issue. He tried damage control with Nicole way before it was necessary and this does sit well with Caleb. I do not think he has F’ed up his game but he is shaky.

I have pulled it up by putting in Big Brother Jokers, and it usually pops right up. However, I can’t stand that site. It is near impossible to follow, plus, it gets really nasty. But it does seem to be pretty popular.
Same goes for Hampster Watch, it was the first one I had heard about, years ago, when they still had a pet hampster instead of the fish. But I hate the layout there as well, once I found this one, it’s been my go to, and I’m pretty sure I found it the year Stevebeans started the site.

I heard Victoria on the feeds right before the comp started tell Nicole “I promise I’ll do everything in my power to win the PoV for you.” If she mans up and realizes she needs to play her own game, this would be best case scenario. She would pull Nicole down, and she’d be safe, so one of the guys would have to go up. In that case, I would assume Caleb would be told to renom Frankie. Who else would die of happiness if that happened?
I, too, hate, hate, hate Christine’s giggle….it’s not real always nervous so jarring and it never stops. However, even though I was a huge Rachel fan and still am, no laugh was more annoying than hers.

I finally told my mother this morning about my donations and naturally she’s trying to reject it. She’s pretty humble and I wouldn’t want to embarrass her thinking she’s begging for money.
That said, I will definitely look into it and it may be better than asking here. I’ve seen some of those work wonders for people, maybe it could help them out 🙂

Your family will not be the first or last to ask for medical bill help. Look at the news. The site will just give a direction to those who want to help. I’ve seen some who ask for grocery money, money for tickets to a concert & many more things. I even read one where a kid wanted & Xbox & his parents said no he’d have to get it himself. He did gofundme and got extra money for games! Pride means nothing compared to getting the best medical treatment for your family. Been following Steve’s site for a couple weeks. Have never commented before but felt compelled to respond to Kathy’s brutal comments.
From what I understand, Steve’s website provides a sevice. Instead of charging a fee to read his blog, he offers it for free, but suggest folks make a donation to cover his costs. Due to his parents health challenges, he’s requesting people to instead of helping to cover the cost of the website, he’d would like to help his parents with their medical bills.
We need more sons like Steve. So thank you Kathy, your cruel comment has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone, I will be making a donation to help lift Steves burden. I will pray for you Kathy.

Why would they shave him? No one would recognize him. They want DONNY, not an actor playing Donny.
Its a one time, one line, one shot cameo appearance. The scene will be maybe 5 minutes long. Hes not a regular cast member or has a recurring role. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity. ONCE. He will have the memories and maybe a DVD copy of the episode before it airs.
I imagine he will get “stock” pay, the going rate for “day players” and extras.. probably a few hundred dollars.
Too bad it probably won’t make Donny eligible for a SAG card, not sure if Frankie has one of those lol. Production advised Donny not to shave the beard and that is going to be very important for Donny. He can enjoy the fame and notoriety for as long as he likes and when he tires of it, simply shaving his beard will allow him to walk unnoticed through a crowd.
How awesome is it that Donny gets an acting gig for just being a nice person and Frankie is the budding actor!!

I have a very bad heart which seems to be getting much worse quickly. Doctors want me on a transplant list but I’m not wanting to do that. I’m in debt over $3million from surgery and hospital stays. I enjoy escaping to this blog. Its nice to see positive attitudes from people like you and Willie. 🙂

Because I have numerous health problems of my own & care for my 81 yr old dad, I just hate seeing people kick sb when he & his loved ones are going thru such a tough time. Kathy, I am sorry about your diagnosis. I truly am. However, we here are like a dysfunctional family. For you to peruse through and say that is just WRONG. SB didn’t ask for money for his medical bills. Know the facts. You’ve always been able to donate on here to help keep the site up and running. Recently he said he’d take the money to help get his soon to be wife and step daughter a gift. Just the other day he announced that what he had received or got from here on out would be given to his PARENTS by HIM for his mother’s medical bills since she has cancer now. We don’t care what he does with the money. If we donate to him for this site or whatever it may be, it’s his and he can do what he wants with it. First of all, why would it offend you? And second, the rest of us care about SB AND his problems, so don’t speak for us.
While some may be offended by Kathy’s post, everyone has a right to share their opinions. Just as Steve Beans does as well. Instead of everyone attacking her for her thoughts why not just ignore it and move on.

Ok so last week I was a little rude because I disagreed with Steve asking for money to buy an xbox. And I suggested asking people to donate to a cancer charity of some sort to honor your mom. However, having donations go to your parents medical bills is a worthy cause and I am going to donate. We’ve all known someone who has had or has cancer. It’s terrible. And Steve I’m honestly sorry for being rude last week. I was put off by you asking for donations only because charities are very important to me and I felt that the money should go towards something more worthwhile. But it wasn’t my place to say anything and I am honestly sorry. I’m newer to this blog and do enjoy it. And I am donating for your parents medical bills. I guess my point is wether you agree or disagree with Steve asking, just don’t be rude. And I’m saying this as someone who was rude. I shouldn’t have said anything at all because the last thing you need is someone attacking you. So again I’m honestly sorry and you and your family are in my prayers. I agree with you 100%. When my mom needed dentures I got a second job to pay for them (100 dollars a week until the 5 grand was paid off). It is now 9 year later and my mother had a stroke right before my eyes exactly 3 Sundays past. My brothers have blown off the whole situation and I am her only care taker. She is now in rehab (and not responding well), her humana coverage will run out soon and I am going to end up having to put her in some rehab (nursing home0 for the indigent (you can imagine what that place will be like). Had you explained your thoughts regarding donating in a more courteous, mature manner, perhaps you would’ve had a few friends on here. Perfect idea here. Why don’t you start a blog on whatever it may be that you like, such as being a p***k to others maybe, and when you get followers, ask them to donate to your hardships.
If you think this is so wrong, why are you here? There are TONS of other BB blogs to go to. I don’t even see this as a services rendered typed thing. We have all been coming here since the start of BB this summer, some even longer for past BB’s. We all pick and joke back and forth, so its almost like we sort of know eachother. If we CHOOSE to donate (it’s not like SB’s is threatening to kick us off the damn blog if we don’t), it’d be like donating to a friend in need? You’ve never done that?

Whoa! That was really harsh. First off, most bloggers and folks that maintain fan based type websites have some sort of donation set-up to help with the costs of running the site, second I think it’s admirable that SB is saying he’s going to use donations to help his parents medical bills.

You should have people who love you help you along your journey to support you, encourage you, pray for you, send you caring words and yes, even donate to you if needed. That’s what this world is about. Helping others, and loving each other.
Stevebeans, you could set up a Caring Bridge website for donations and ongoing updates regarding your mom, that way we can follow her progress and donate even after BB!!

Hey, SB has always politely asked for donations; the only difference is that he is telling us it is going to be used for something serious. In the past, he would make jokes about it being to buy his coffee, etc. If you don’t like how a blogger handles his blog, you are always welcome to go to a different blog more to your liking. If you want the authority to say how a blog should be done, have your own or try another. Having said this, I should note that I am a big fan of SB, so that may affect my response to what you said. I am sorry about your medical condition. I wish you well.
I disagree with the nasty, spiteful remarks made about steve beans asking for donations BUT when you reply to these TROLLS it feeds their egos. They can spew their hatred, venom, and narcissistic drivel and get attention, which they crave. Ignore them, skip over them and don’t FEED THE TROLLS!

I know we shouldn’t mouse, but I have the same problem with most strays. If a stray cat shows up, I usually end up feeding it, just to make sure it’s ok. Sometimes it is just a reflection of the human spirit to help others in need. Yes, there are scammers out there, but there are also good souls that truly need help. Each person has to decide for themselves what their hearts and minds tell them to do. My husband was given 3-5 years to live nearly 9 years ago. He is on the downward slide now. I have never asked for help, but my work took up a collection to help us. I was embarrassed but truly grateful to have a support system behind me. So help or not, like it or not, it is all up to you. I support your right to your own opinion!
I totally agree with this. People come here to read about Big Brother. Nobody wants to hear about your sick parents, your cat, your wedding, or anything else. And stop begging for money. It’s sad, unprofessional and inappropriate. I’m sure you do pretty well on the ad revenue that’s generated alone.
I actually think (just from watching BBAD, I don’t have the feeds) that Mango seems a bit more subdued since he was told that America hated his play…”overwhelmingly”
He still gets a little spazz at times, but I have seen him actually carrying on normal conversations.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still an attention seeking fame w***e, but I think he got the message that America wasn’t pleased with the mission.
And I love how he’s obsessed with, what he calls, “America’s obsession with Donny.”
They are all going to feel bad when they watch it afterwards and see how genuinely nice Donny is.

Frankie… doing what he loves most… being the center of attention. I was a Frankie fan to begin with but he’s just too over the top for me. Too full of himself too. I really wish they’d backdoor him.

This is the first time I can say I want Victoria to win. Maybe if she does she will take Nicole down and Caleb will put up Frankie. I doubt it but I am still hopeful.
We’ve been watching long enough to know that Victoria will do whatever Derrick tells her to do – she won’t take Nicole down.
At first I thought Frankie was entertaining but the act got old very fast. He thinks everyone loves him, or should I say he thinks everyone SHOULD love him. He screwed his best friend in the house when he had other options.
