Big Brother 16 sausage fest is well underway with the official eviction of Nicole. We’re stuck with 6 guys and 2 girls in a house that is completely locked down by one person right now – Derrick. After the live episode, I ran out for an hour but I am back and updating the feeds. I’d be willing to bet the nominees have already been discussed, so I’ll update this when I get more info. I also have to write the recap of the live show in the process.
Here are some updates…
- 8:50pm – Frankie, Christine and Donny sitting around the kitchen chatting. Everyone is waiting for the HoH room to open up so they can do the fun reveal nobody really cares about.
- 8:54pm – Derrick and Frankie are in the beehive room and agree Donny has to go up and go home. Derrick says he should stay HoH this week so Frankie can play in the endurance competition next week.
- Derrick wonders how much longer they have to carry Donny due to Team America.
- Sounds like Donny will be up with Zach, and Victoria will be up with someone (Cody maybe)
- 9:30pm – The house is hanging around the living room
- 10:04pm – Derrick is in the bathroom telling the plan about getting rid of Donny
- 10:20pm – Derrick is in the beehive room feeding Donny lines about Victoria possibly going home this week. He is letting him know he will likely be up on the block with Zach to give him a fighting chance.
- Derrick asks Donny what he wants, to stay off the block or have two chances to save himself. Donny said he’d love to stay off entirely, but he won’t. Derrick is telling Donny he can’t really do that because in the end, if Derrick doesn’t put up Donny post veto, people will be upset. Donny should tell him not to care. They’re in the final 8 and Team America is HoH. There is only so much Donny will take of Derrick feeding him lines.
- Donny is suggesting putting 4 random guys on the block and they can just backdoor Victoria post veto. Derrick is listening but he’s humoring him imo
- 10:40pm – Derrick and Zach in the beehive room
- The two of them discuss the scenarios of the week. Derrick is telling Zach to voice his concerns in the meeting they’re going to have in the HoH room later

There’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, that’s good game play. They should cast more people like that and fewer people who sit back and don’t play the game at all.
I don’t understand all the Derrick hate. I think he’s an incredible player. I like Donny (and live within 45 minutes of him), but he sleeps through all the important things, and could have rounded up a lot of people at one time to overthrow those in power. Instead, he remained silent. I don’t think he deserves to win. Just my opinion. Derrick, on the other hand, has been playing BB all season.
Donny never had a chance in this game, he is much older than the kids and couldn’t bond with them.
Let’s see if BB had all 40 somethings and one 20 year old. The 40 somethings would be more protective of a 20 year old than the other way around (like this season). That’s just the way it is in life.
So, the best player shouldn’t win because Donny “didn’t stand a chance”?
They all need to figure out how to back door Derrick. Just like they did Nicole, when she won HOH last week. Sweet! Now that would be fun to watch.

I’m watching BBAD now and Derrick is talking crap to Donny, saying that he’s not the target but they are going to put him up so he has a chance to compete. I hope Donny doesn’t believe any of it. I feel so bad for him 🙁
Welllllllll, maybe Zach will share Frankie with Cody.
Unfortunately Donny is the target, but I think if Donny is able to save himself Derrick will be willing to BD Victoria. Victoria doesn’t realize that she is expendable.
It is close enough to the end I think Derrick will consider cutting Christine loose, that would be sweet to see Nicole get to beat her for return to the house.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they don’t try and backdoor Donny, and that if they do, Donny is picked to play & wins the veto comp.

That is the surest way to his safety, win the BotB. At least it doesn’t look like they will burden him with Victoria.
Yes, but the plan is to put Donny with Zach and Zach will throw the competition. First Zach said it was ok and then he said he didn’t know if he could throw it. Donny is probably doomed unless he wins the veto.
After this next week Donnie will be gone, after that I’m done watching. It doesn’t matter to me who wins then.
Ugh RAchel needs to go away. She is so annoying and that top was not apporiate! Way to small looks horrible and with the bare midriff ugh. Go use your degree not be an idiot!

This is the reason why the girls alliance went over like a lead balloon. Everyone sees it coming. When it came up this season the “strong players” alliance saw it as an imminent threat and systematically went about culling the women to the point a girls alliance was no longer feasible. Way to go Rachel.
Wanda, I’m with you on that one. Did she have plastic surgery? I mean besides the implants… did she have a nose job? She looked like a plastic version of herself. Maybe it was just the makeup. I thought she was pretty when she was on BB (even though I couldn’t stand her). She looked great even without makeup. Last night she looked like a scary clown version of Rachel. GAAA!
