It’s another fine day in the Big Brother house. The sun is shining, Donny is doing his morning routine, Victoria is roaming around and the rest of the house is sleeping. We are in the 48 hour window between the PoV meeting and the live show. Tuesday and Wednesday are usually the days when reality sets in that the Big Brother week is around 95% complete. Barring any random twists, the only thing left to do is for the house to enter the diary room and cast their vote. The only thing Donny and Brittany can do is to spend this next 48 hours campaigning to still be in the house by Friday morning.
Brittany has plenty of ammunition to work with, but I don’t think she’ll even come close to finding or using it. The reality is, for many people, Donny is the person who should go home this week, but that’s a damn tough sell. It’s like trying to campaign against Santa Claus. One of the main things Brittany can say is this.. if you’re in the final 2 with Donny, who will win? If America is given any power, who do you think will benefit? She can also work out a deal with Cody for safety, especially considering Donny is not thrilled with him going back on his word of putting Caleb up over him.
Not that I want to see Donny go home over Brittany, but I am hoping for any excitement on the feeds this week. Devin rolled over. Paola did nothing. Joey just made people feel awkward. Will Brittany pull off a miracle, or even try? My guess is she’s just going to play the sympathy card that worked so well on Devin, but it won’t work on the rest of the house.

Here are the feed updates:
- 10:30am – Donny chatting with Jocasta in the bathroom. He is telling her of the conversation with Cody. He was told the only reason he went up is because he’s such a likable person, nobody would vote for him over Brittany (ie a pawn). He is asking Jocasta if she buys it. She confirmed the likable line she heard from Caleb.
- 11:20am – Cody is relaxing on the couch outside, Brittany is getting ready to get some sun. I guess she should take advantage of her summer vacation while it lasts.
- 11:50am – Brittany chatting with Victoria in the beehive. Britt believes Cody doesn’t want her gone and he only put her up because he had nobody else.
Brittany is putting 2 and 2 together and said she realizes there is a big group of people working together and they’re just going to get picked off one by one. People like Derrick are friendly with them, but when it comes to votes, they all stick together. - Victoria just feels if she is put up again, she’ll take herself down via botb or veto. Great strategy, win competitions all the way out. Worked great for Devin.
- 12:45pm – Brittany now making her pitch to Nicole. She is talking about how weak of a player she is, but also pulling the kid card and just want to get to the jury for her kids (shocker)
- 12:58pm – It’s Derrick’s turn to listen in on Brittany. She is giving a pretty weak campaign push and everyone has shown very little interest so far.
- 3:11pm – A bunch of people outside talking about hotdogs. Victoria and Brittany inside making food.
- 6:30pm – Cody talking with Jocasta in the HoH room about how Caleb is eventually going to go after him. I just got back from dinner, I will flashback to see if anything else interesting happened.
- Meanwhile, Caleb is downstairs talking to Brittany giving her false hope. He said him and Amber are on Britt’s side, but I don’t think he really has the power to speak for Amber. Surprisingly, Caleb is giving Brittany actual advice and not just humoring her like the other people have been doing.
- Brittany is going on and on about how she fought too hard to go out the door before some of the floaters. Hey Britt, floaters stay in the game for quite some time. Look at Mr Bacon Adam. Being a good player isn’t about playing as hard as you can every single week, it’s about playing as hard as you can when you need, and otherwise play a solid social game.
- 7:04pm – Brittany is now working Hayden. “I’m not a threat compared to Donny” just moments after bragging about how she finished the soccer kicks because she wanted to prove how competitive she is.
- 8:16pm – Some of the houseguests are dressing up tonight.

That tracker is a waste of time. They don’t keep it updated and they give several values. Most steps taken, miles traveled, calories burned, most active. Which one are they going to base the decision on? Expect the unexpected—–the only thing I’m expecting is more boredom. They need to change it up and make it more exciting or the are going to lose viewers.
The have-nots for next week should be quite surprised. CBS limits you to only seeing one day’s activity at a time and you cannot look back but I have tried to look at it every day. Donny, Jocasta, Frankie, Zach and Hayden seem to be safe but Caleb, Amber, Derrick, Christine, Cody and Nicole have been slacking the last couple of days.
I could see the HoH comp being each person guessing their total steps taken over the past week, those closest are the winners and then the 4 least active people (excluding any slacker that might have won the HoH with their guess) get to be the have-nots. No more excuses for Christine.

Oh poor Derrick, after a rollercoaster night of Zach’s insanity and the Most Uncomfortable Date Ever he gets all ready to sleep and then has an innocent talk with Victoria…and she lays out his game without even realizing what she is saying. She accurately points out he has become a friend and confident to everyone, he is a power player in her eyes.
Derrick tap danced like a madman to downplay his role and eventually distracted her with her adventures kissing Frankie last night. But he has to be whirling inside, if she innocently says that to Donny it may be the last piece of the puzzle he needs.
I expect for Derrick to push for Victoria out next but that is going to go against most who think Caleb’s time is up. Amber needs to point out how horrific the jury house would be for her with Caleb there and no constant camera coverage. In her position I would consider giving up the stipend to avoid that situation.

Caleb is cute. But I think he doesn’t get that Amber doesn’t like him. Also he has a huge ego and is always talking about himself and how great he is.
He is physically attractive, a “pretty boy”, and probably used to getting every girl he wants. I’m sure he’s had girls fawning all over him since junior high. Problem is he doesn’t realize that there are women out there who aren’t interested in him romantically. This really might be the first time he’s been rejected.
B.B. Canada was much more exciting. The players were a bit older and actually had personalities. Production threw in lots of twists and turns into the mix.
I am dying to hear all of Zack’s DR sessions. I am beginning to think he has truly decided to not give a damn and to play the agent of chaos to the hilt. He actually has Brittany considering a house meeting, Cody and Frankie are freaking out.
It would be easy to convince the house that Zach is saboteur/Team America as he farks with everyone in the house- and not necessarily in inconsequential ways.

What was that carnival game thing—the gypsy head in the box—they used to do? They would wake HG all during the night and they had to scramble into the room to get a clue for the competition the next day. That was hilarious. Might not work this year since half of them stay up all night anyway.
For someone who seldom spoke to HG the entire time she has been in BB and who said she wasn’t going to campaign, Brittany is really, as my grandpa would say, “Puttin’ on the dog!”
Wow. From 7:55 on I feel like I have been watching a Hangover movie with Cody and Zack. It’s so funny. I wouldn’t be surprised if by the time I wake up tomorrow I see there is a lion and a monkey in the house and someone will have a tattoo on their face. Zack is crazy!

I don’t understand how when any mere female HG in the BB House just mentions lets have a all Girl Alliance, everyone in the house “FREAKS OUT,” and the person who mentions it is shortly evicted. Yet time, after time, when there is an ALL MALE ALLIANCE no one bats an eyelash, instead the female HG in the house feed into it! It is absolutely freaking sickening, that these HG don’t see who the Puppet Master is, and they do nothing to get rid of him, DERRICK! This season is the 2nd coming of the Brigade, but at least they had Enzo, & Brittney Haynes who were entertaining!
You’d think they learned from BB 16, Derrick is Amanda, but he isn’t so obvious, due to the fact that he is a Cop?! Frankie, who I can’t stomach, is the new Andy…ugh, and Cody is Helen. Steve is right about something tho, Donny is the “nicest” HG that EVER walked into the BB House, I hope he wins it all, or at least America’s Favorite Player
Well production needs to MAKE THEM DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING! I think it is a lazy staff crew this summer. They should go in and move the furniture around or take away something or Zumba time or twerking time anything to make it uncomfortable and wake and shake these folks up.

For this season, since Zach seems to sleep the days away, wouldn’t it be funny if everyone faked him out & told him he missed out on something really great, like a special movie or special guest came in, etc and so sorry he missed it cause he was so deeply asleep. Or have BB production move stuff around when they’re all asleep, just to mess with their minds. Like you said Karen, make ’em do some Zumba or something too…anything but sit around for hours on end!

They claim to be such Big Brother fans, but these HG aren’t showing it. I know it’s different being in the house and watching it from home. We see and hear everything and everyone, but they should have figured out by now who is running the show. If BB continues, they need to shake it up and get different competitions, more punishments. Production is always getting on to them for singing, whistling, talking about production—give them a punishment for it. They aren’t supposed to tell who they are putting up but they do—give them a punishment. Nothing like that horrible soccer goal thing though!

First off, Donnie will never get to the top two, so that won’t matter. Plus, Brittany has the single mom with kids card that could help her if she ever (she wont) get to the end. Donnie is part of Team America, and Brittany has more of a chance of drumming up “girl power” support, so Britt is a bit more dangerous than Donnie now. Britt campaigns endlessly…didn’t you hear — she “deserves” to be here over other. yawn. Truth is, with Devin, sailed the last boat to try to take on Derrick’s Army.
I am watching last nights After Dark and about 23minutes in Frankie and Amber are in the kitchen he is preparing food and says something to her about how it’s crazy that there were people that weren’t allowed to have knives… It trails off and the camera immediately switched to the boys playing pool. I am wondering if something came of Caleb holding the knife a few nights back. Did they tell him he couldn’t handle a knife anymore?

Also… Julie Chen looked beautiful with light makeup and relatively natural hair! The heavy eye makeup and big hair she’s got now are not doing her any favors. I just googled her and found out she’s younger than me (I’m 44). Wow. Thought she was at least 50. She should fire her stylist!
I don’t know about prison but if I recall correctly he did just kinda disappear from the media. That can also be the reason they limit the alcohol in the house. They were pretty drunk when all that took place. But watching that video you can see he had some serious issues that BB let go too long. Production really should have stepped in during that season.
It would be interesting to find out what ever happened to him. He really needed some professional help!

No problem. There are just some things you don’t forget about in BB Land. It’s a shame a couple of losers ruin it for others.
It would be even more boring without Battle of the Block Competition and less people working to keep themselves safe and realizing their card is up. I like the four up and two trying to get off. But it would be fun if the fallen HOH got nominated after veto. I loved Dereck last night telling Caleb and Cody how double eviction worked and them both staring into space. I think Dereck and Zach know the most and then maybe Frankie.

Well, I am just about done. I have been a Big Brother fan for a long time and have actually paid for live feeds for the last two years. This is the first year I am really bored and fed up. Watching this house is like watching paint dry…too predictable and too boring. I lost hope when Cody gave up his “man card” and put Donny on the block. He has such a good chance to make a big play. As much as I get annoyed with Zach, at least he is playing. All people like Christine, Nicole, and Hayden do is follow the crowd. I am just over it. I have stopped watching the feeds. I check a couple of blogs keeping my fingers crossed that something changes and it just doesn’t. It’s become a yawner of a show. Boo.
I don’t pay for live feeds—thankful for that this year. I do tape BBAD each night, but it’s so boring, I fast forward through the entire thing. Everyone is talking about how bored they are. Clean the house! Wash the sheets instead of complaining how smelly they are. Quit listening to whispering and play your own game instead of doing someone else’s bidding. Zach is annoying but at least he tried to shake things up before Derrick put the lid on him.
These are the dirtiest people around. They have nothing to to really do all day, why dont’ they pick up after themselves and clean?

It is a bit telling how the women can’t bind together and are too jealous of each other to even work together. It informs me why I (as a woman) have chosen to have male friends for long periods at a time.
I am sitting here looking at the picture of Donny on the couch with his bowl of cereal and an old joke came to mind. — A city boy is driving the country back roads and gets lost – he eventually comes upon a single little shack just off the road – he notices a man sitting on the porch with a glass of iced tea next to him as he sits and whittles on a stick – the city boy calls out to him and asks him if he knows how to get to hwy. 7 – the country boys replies – nope – he then asks if he knows how to get to the nearest town – again – nope – the city boy tries again asking if he knows of anyone else that could help him – once again – nope – frustrated the city boy says – you don’t know much do you hayseed – to that he replies – maybe so – but I ain’t lost. That to me is pure Donny.
City boy better hope he doesn’t get the DELIVERANCE treatment. lol
I liked that. Donny is my favorite HG he seems to be the most pure at heart and giving person. I have rooted for him since day one. John I think BB should have a season of mature and wiser HG’s that are not afraid to take BIG chances and let someone else run their HOH. Not saying that I am older or anything. hahahahah I am young at heart.

Well Connie Sue – I will be 71 years old tomorrow so I probably would qualify for an old fart BB – I would volunteer for that one – maybe the old farts could show these young know it alls how the game should be played – with integrity and common sense – and we would definatly Keep the damn house clean – my lord that place is a pig sty. As I said before there is no way in he-double toothpicks that I or most seniors could tolerate being locked in a closed environment with these children. They have no clue what real life is all about. – Brittany alluded to that very thing – she is not the oldest in the house but in my opinion the most mature – and it is driving her nuts.
Happy birthday tomorrow, John! I really want Donny to win, but there is no chance now. Derrick is using the others to do his dirty work and he’s going to take the money. I would be terrible at that game because I lived with a liar for 25 yrs. and I can’t stand it, even if it is a game.
Mouse – I have a gut feeling that he is pushing things to far – and spreading himself to thin – I believe and certainly hope it all comes crashing down around him – not only will it expose him – but the excitement we are all craving wil begin in earnest.

Donny should be a huge target but he isn’t going anywhere. I wish Dan was in the house, that guy knew how to add excitement
Dan knows how to win the game, any excitement is incidental. Derrick, if he avoids any huge errors, may prove to be just as skilled a player as Dan.
I don’t much care for Derrick but you cannot deny he is in the best position in the house at this time.
Waiting for someone, anyone, to shake up the house before it’s too late and Derrick is being handed the check. Don’t really like the guy, but he is about the only one playing any kind of game.
And PLEASE give them some alcohol!! And lots of it!! No smokers or drinkers in the house makes for a boring game.
