I’m going to be honest, I can’t even really think straight right now. I just received more bad news but I don’t want to go into detail. I am just writing that to let you know why my recap of last night will be brief. Caleb won the HOH but hurt his knee in the process and may sit out of the PoV if it’s physical. Derrick took the $5k reward with the punishment. Derrick say he took the message loud and clear about the overwhelming ‘no’, but too little too late. Frankie blamed the ‘no’ on America not being ready for a guy in drag (he’s in denial). Nicole tried to campaign but she’s guaranteed to go on the block, and she’ll probably be sitting next to Christine when it happens.
With that, feed updates..
- 10:00am – BB does the wakeup call. With no Donny, these post-wakeup calls are going to be even more dull. Everyone is still sleeping.
- 11:45am – The house is stirring finally. People clearly look sore from last night.
- 12:10pm – People are talking about how weird Julie Chen’s question about slop was. Frankie is trying to play it off as nothing.
- 12:45pm – Derrick volunteers to be a havenot since he went for the money last night. Nobody else does. Caleb asks ‘we’ve all done it the same amount, we’ve all done it twice, right?’ – Frankie remains silent.. he has only been once.
- Caleb finally chooses Nicole.
- Nicole heads out crying talking to herself. She knows Frankie has only been HN once.
- Derrick went outside and had a good talk with Nicole, calmed her down. He said he’ll make good food and try to keep her energized
- 1:20pm – Most of the house is up in the HoH room talking about how there is no chance Donny will win America’s Player. We need to prove them wrong. When the voting starts, blow up those lines.
- 3:25pm – Return to the computer, and feeds go down for noms. It shouldn’t be long though.
- 4:30pm – Feeds back. Nicole and Christine nominated.
- 5:08pm – Derrick is comforting Nicole once again. She is crying in the pantry. I think she’s having trouble dealing with the last 2 weeks. Derrick is doing a great job securing a jury vote from her.
- 5:20pm – Not much happening in the house. Eating, relaxing. I am also watching the Utopia live feeds. I wonder if I should blog about that this winter. I can’t wait to watch the premiere.
- Nicole is in bed chatting with Victoria saying how this is not Big Brother. People are just voting as a group instead of making big moves. She also can’t believe how close Christine and Cody are, not just flirt wise but game wise. Why aren’t they breaking that up? (good question)
- 5:36pm – Nicole talks about how bad of a person Frankie has been. He sits at the nomination table and laughs and makes weird faces (like above)
(I just realized all the pics today are of Nicole. I guess may as well get them in before she goes home)
- The two (Vic and Nicole) talk about the potential upcoming veto competitions.
- 6:15pm – Nicole and Victoria are still chatting game, figuring out who will go home if she wins, etc. Both are screwed, but Victoria will likely make it pretty far.

BB house is boring boring boring. There would be more dynamic if they were required to DO more for their existence. That’s why Survivor gets more out of the contestants.
Others here have suggested making them work for their food. Maybe have assigned chores. I mean really….even Project Runway contestants have to work harder than these buffoons.
And if CBS wants the B in BB to stand for Buffoon, then for heavens sake Booze starts with B too…give them booze and have them play Beer pong and REALLY spiral out of control.
Christine is going yo be mad when Victoria is there longer than her. Somehow all these guys are keeping her. Cody and Caleb plus Derrick recite the memorized totem pole sending out daily well in fact hourly even. All these folks tried it fight it and even Zach failed. Double eviction will send out Nicole and Christine. No guy is leaving. The guys make it so they vote!

I was watching the live feed last night. Yes he is in the HOH room. I have been a Donny fan since the beginning and will continue to be. When the lines open up for America’s Player I hope the results are announced with “overwhelming votes” Donny! It was sad to watch Donny be evicted but I did love the part when Julie said “I think you are going to be OK” when Donny had said he hoped he could get his job back. Also when Julie told him that The Bold and the Beautiful called and want him to do a guest appearance…love it. At the finale, it would be great for Julie to make the announcement again and please let the cameras be on Caleb and Frankie. The look on their face when they hear it will be priceless!!!

I just watch part of a long ….Jill Rance (YouTube) video. She is the real mom of my Zach.
In the video interview with @MissCleoBB, Jill Rance talked about her son’s eviction and all of the drama and turmoil around it inside the Big Brother 16 house. She is upset about how the other Houseguests talked about Zach and tore him down. It is long, but I hope you can find it. It proves that Zach is one of the best HGs. At least for me and the real mom.
I am sure CBS will have Zach back! He is a great kid!!!

If they didn’t use it to save Donny I don’t see them trotting it out now. As some have said the prize/punishment Derrick took was probably this season’s Pandora’s Box. It will take some time to build but the “Hollas” may become an issue down the road. Using them to deprive the HGs of restful sleep would certainly put Derrick on the hotspot if BB wishes. He should have been required to “Holla back”.
I’m not so sure about that. If Derrick didn’t go for it, someone else would have. The Hollas woulda happened no matter what.

Nicole was the only chance for anything other than the alliance in power continuing their demolition of the house. She may still do it with a POV win but even then Victoria might be the casualty what with Frankie in Caleb’s ear.
Anyone else would have still put up Nicole and player X because sticking with the alliance is better than open defiance at the start of the week. You have to see how the POV then plays out. Will someone be backdoored? Quite possibly and even hopefully. That is what I would like.
If Cody and Derrick (even Caleb said it) really think Christine is more trouble than she is worth, there is a chance they could get Christine out this week. But I think that Nicole would have to pull herself down, for it to be possible.

Steve, continued thoughts & prayers. When it rains, it pours. I don’t know your situation but in ’08 our fam had our “year from hell.” Literally, as my dad was in CCU recovering from 5 by-passes, my mom’s cancer came back. Dad was doing rehab, Mom was in & out of the hospital. It was a rough year. I can understand your getting bombarded all at once. Remember through all this stress to tabke care of yourself. Take care.
Why would I want Donny to win America’s Player? He was the worst player of the season other than Victoria. I mean, he keeps thinking being nice means you are good and deserve to win. WTH?
I would consider being on the block 7 times and getting yourself off 6 of those time, says how much he played the game. He didn’t wait for someone to save him or have anyone protect him like Frankie and Derrick do. So he did play the game.
Playing the game well means you don’t go up on the block 7 times.

I remember production yelling at a HG for lighting her hair. I think she was styling it?? So maybe they don’t want smokers.

My daughter & I talked about that the other day. I believe this season has a cast of all non smokers, but I’m not sure if that’s a first. I think Donny had “chew” and maybe one other person, but no smokers. I wonder if its because of all the lockdowns and maybe the smokers couldn’t handle going that long with out a smoke? Then again, it just could be BB is trying very hard to redeem themselves after last year’s total fiasco.
I think the non smoking is for 2 reasons..
Less ppl are smoking and they were cast on purpose. Nonsmokers and non drinkers.

As they say on ESPN NFL pregame show,”Come On Man”. People say the same thing every year and yet come back. You might stop watching for a week, but you will be back. You are to invested in BB. I bet you said last year, “I’ll never watch BB again” and you came back. There is no way you won’t watch the finals. “Come On Man” this is the utimate reality show. The best ever. That’s why there is a different version in plenty of other countries. “Come On Man”.
I saw his sister on the Today show this morning singing. They interviewed her too, and it was funny because they asked her how she stayed grounded and she said her family. Like her mom and grandmother. She never mentioned Frankie’s d*****s, whereas he cant stop mentioning her!
I think Frankie’s family is aware of who he is.. self esteem wise. They know who he really is.. not Mango, the fabulous broadway performer (his BB persona). But Frankie, the failure. They know he is no Arianna, he knows it too.

Frankie is such an ass, and that’s one of the nicer words I will use for him…it’s really his “turn” to be a Have Not since he’s only done it once. For him to suggest Nicole get it again, for 2 weeks in a row, is vindictive. And a couple of days ago, he told Cody to keep Nicole awake all night so she would be too tired to play in HOH. Frankie, it’s time for you to go. And whatever money you get from BB, you should seriously use it for therapy and get rid of the ‘all about me’ issues that have taken over your life.

Watched a few minutes of after dark last night and had my fill of Frankie. He is the most insecure player this season. …he could not stop talking about how his sister looked on camera last night and did anyone even notice anyone else but her. How Caleb ( new hoh ) would for sure be doing a duet with her blah blah. The other houseguests were sooo over the whole subject but he couldn’t leave it alone. He is desperately trying to figure out why America could turn on Arianna Grande’s brother not knowing most people didn’t give two hoots about her to begin with. Who’s he offensive to and why?
He was pretty offensive to Joey when he made fun of her, and the rest of the evicted houseguests. He was pretty offensive toward America when he stated America wasn’t ready for a man in drag. He just thinks he’s better than everyone.
But don’t forget he is Arianna’s shadow. The only way I ever knew of her is when Frankie brought her up. I have an 18, 16, and 13 year old in the house and they didn’t even know that much about her until Frankie rubbed every ones noses into her. He needs his own life and to stop skating off of whoever she is. To add insult to injury Frankie, my 3 daughter’s weren’t to impressed with your so called sister.
You can insult Frankie all you want but I’ll tell you right now, Ariana Grande is having HUGE success. She’s extremely famous, you just probably aren’t surrounded by teen pop culture very often. And also, I don’t think Frankie minds that 3 unqualified judges don’t like his sister. She has Mariah Carey like pipes and I’m not even really a fan of her but you’re insulting a great singer for basically no reason and I just thought I’d let you know that she’s insanely talented.

Yes Ariana can hit them high notes but honestly that’s about it. Mariah Carey has a 5 octave vocal range and has written more songs than Elvis. She has written 18 number 1 hits. That’s impressive. So yeah, Ariana has talent and she is becoming more and more famous, but she isn’t Mariah Carey, will never be Mariah Carey.
