Happy eviction day, Junkies!
Slight delay this morning, I had to register for fall classes and realized I’m going to be taking English Comp II. Do you know what that means? My blogging is going to get even worse. Reality is, my blogging is a mess. I ramble on, I have incomplete sentences, and I bounce from topic to topic. Any time I learn how to write better, I start worrying about whether or not my paragraphs are long enough, my grammar is correct and if what I’m writing actually makes sense. So be prepared, next season is going to be a disaster from a blogging standpoint.
At the end of the day you’ll still get your updates! (seriously, how many times does Caleb use that statement per day? His nights must be full of absolutes from all those promises throughout the day)
Not much has changed on the eviction front in the the last 24 hours. The girls are digging Amber’s grave, but they don’t realize they’ll be pushed on top of her soon enough. After tonight, we’ll have 5 people evicted from the house, and 4 of them girls. The 4 remaining girls consist of two floaters and two average players at best. Easy prediction – A guy will win BB16. (Seriously, start casting stronger women. You don’t need models. You don’t need DJ’s. If you absolutely need them to be pretty for ratings, there are a ton of smart and pretty girls out there. Try being more selective)
If you count this season (and you should), 8 of the last 10 big brother winners were male. The two women – Rachel Reilly (love her or hate her, she is a fierce competitor) and Jordan Lloyd (who has a phenomenal personality). I’ve watched a lot of reality shows and one thing I know is certain – women make for better TV. Rachel was one of the more entertaining cast members in recent history. Amanda was another. Aaryn was such a b***h, you had to turn in every week to see what she’d say next. Danielle (Dick’s daughter) was a great competitor and played the good cop perfectly to Dick’s bad cop routine. Even Jessie from BB15 was worth watching.
If you can go ahead and cast more of those and fewer Paola’s, Jenn City’s, JoJo’s, Kara’s, etc that would be great. Yea.. thanks (office space impression)

Sure that’s why production shut down Zach trying to talk Caleb going Home when Amber goes.
That way she can get far away before he can start hunting her.
Funny and not so funny all at the same time.
But just think about how pissed he’s going to be at the Detonators when he gets home, watches the season, and (well, maybe) figures out that he was totally duped to turn against her.
Or maybe he will show some brains and watch and realize that his obsession cost him his alliance and his season, and in the long run his pride. They are doing him a favor by getting her out before he looks any more stupid and pathetic then he already does.
Sure, they got him to get her out, but they should have just gotten him out last week and taken her down this week. I will never understand why they didn’t go after him either time they had the chance.

The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. BB do you understand that? Your so called twists are lame or practically non existent. Casting is a joke. Penalties? That means to penalize, as in something bad is going to happen DO IT!
BB Canada was a lot more interesting this year… i thought they would try similar twists in BB16… too bad…
The last two BB Canada seasons have been better than the last 10 of BB US.
Victoria my Jewish Princess and Zach my Jewish Prince will win HOH. They are the two smartest HG’s in the house and will be the last two standing to win the $500,000. Love both of them. Great casting Allison. Keep up the great work as Excutive Producer. BB16 rocks. One of the best in years.

TA totally messed with Donny this week. Frankie is HOH so won’t have to say anything. He will get the $5000 and not have to work for it as usual. Derrick could get away with kiddingly saying something to Zach or Caleb, but that is something Donny would never do. He’s right about it coming down on his head. BB needs to get some adults working on planning, games, and missions. The two HOHs would have worked better if the losers, both the HOH and nominees would have had a punishment–24 hr. isolation! Give prizes to the two winning nominees.
Why not try a season of players between the ages of 30 and 40? Hopefully they will be more mature.
It would end up like…well…probably like BB Canada. They were still mostly young but the maturity level was clearly higher.
I would prefer to watch more people in my age group, but by then, they’re probably more likely to have full time jobs and not as likely to be able to take up to 3 months of leave from work.
I’ve thought that too, but some of the best drama usually comes from the younger crowd. So it’s a toss up, better game play, or more fun to watch?
I’d say 30-50 age range would keep it more interesting. Plus, why on earth the house EVER has anyone who has never seen the show is beyond me? They make for the worst players. I kinda wish they would quiz the people applying about past seasons, at least the most recent seasons. If they have never watched, they aren’t going to be any good at all.
After the eviction this week I am hoping they drop the battle of the block and go back to one HOH. It’s getting old already!
Sorry, it’s already been confirmed for one more week. In the vote for TA one of the options was for two of the members to become dual HOH’s.
Let’s just hope they never do this again. Big FAIL.
I almost always agree with you Sadie, but on this one I think it’s the cast that has been the fail here. Having 2 HOH’s is giving them a chance to get that much more blood on their hands. Plus, I like that if your team wins at the BOB, then you get thrown out of HOH. Just my opionion of course, but I think if most of the house was strong, instead of one alliance with all of the good players in it, it would have made it more fun.
Yeah, I kinda like BOB but I hope if they do it again next year they have penalties so people won’t be tempted to throw it.
On Jokers at 11:08 one of the posts said Donny was still angry over a prank Zach pulled last night. Anyone know what the prank was?
Found it on another site. Apparently Zach and some of the others staying up all night were running through the house, slamming doors, and running across Donny’s bed while he was trying to sleep.
Caleb has taken Amber’s bunny slippers and hid them in the bottom of his suitcase. That boy seriously has a screw loose!

They usually do the first DE when the first person enters jury, so they send 2 people to the jury house instead of having one person there alone for a week.
I agree with the HOH predictions except for I think Derrick should be on the short list for a HOH win too, someone may return the kindness he showed Frankie last week so he too can see pics of his grandpa, also he is a cop I’m sure his memory is good because of that
That’s what I was thinking. Some law enforcement agencies do have memory tests on entrance exams, so memory seems to be pretty important in that field.
Don’t forget about Janelle, Stevebeans. She was so fun to watch and she could really compete with the boys!

She was very good at competitions. But, I think a really good player doesn’t need to win all the time. If you’re in the position of having to win everything or be evicted, then there’s a problem with how you play the game.
I wish Frankie would have had the guts to put up Caleb, I wanted him out last week too. But so far they are dragging him along for entertainment purposes. As far as houseguests, this group is fine, BB just needs to do more to make them mingle to show personality instead of sleep and hang out.
It’s a good strategy though. Caleb is their puppet! Why get rid of a vote in their favour for someone actively working against you, as Amber was? (By suggesting an all-girl alliance)
Derrick just told Donny they’re not going to complete the TA mission. So much for “American is more important!”
Also, I hope Christine/Nicole don’t win HOH because they’re going to waste it on getting Victoria out because they just realized all of the guys want to keep her around until final 6 (a few of the guys had a conversation about who to evict when – so it was confirmed). Nicole is also a jealous mess. Hayden and Donny are the only one out of your picks that would actually do something worthwhile with their HOH’s (Hayden said Frankie should go instead of Caleb).
I don’t want Nicole to win either. She seriously gets on my nerves, her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I cringe every time she opens her mouth. I hate to judge HG’s on their looks or other physical attributes but “at the end of the day” this is a TV show and lets face it, people are gonna judge. I like Zach and Frankie so I’m rooting in that direction. Zach is the only person at least trying to bring drama to the house. The rest just sit there and take his attacks. Could you imagine someone like Rachel or Amanda letting the comments he made toward Amber at the POV meeting pass? It would’ve been on. So not only are the girls stupid, they are boring and wimpy. I’m also starting to be so over Donny. The nice guy sctick is wearing thin and I want to see some game play. I wouldn’t be sorry to see him go.
Totally agree on all counts. Used to like Nicole and Donny, but they have become sheeples for the Detonators and have little to no game play. Both will be gone soon.
If I had to pick a winner I would say Derrick. Zach, Frankie, and Victoria all come from money, so they are just playing for sport. Cody has been getting on my nerves and Christine is just plain slimy and jealous of the other girls.

Donny actually has a great deal of game play, he is the reason the TA mission is off and he has very good justifications behind it.
How he was told about it was “sketchy” as hell. He has an established pattern that people in the house have learned and expect from him. He is very aware and understands that everything you do in the house is seen and judges by others. In the middle of his sleep Derrick wakes Donny up and gets together with Frankie in HoH. Donny also hits the DR.
Other HGs saw and have since commented on this break in schedule. Donny was immediately alert to how this looked and how it might be connected if some big event were to happen. Donny pointed out him, Derrick and Frankie are there to compete for BB champion and not just TA. Donny’s own personal game comes first for him and their personal games should come first.for Frankie and Derrick as well.
There is a player behind that beard, let us hope he gets a chance to shine.

I totally agree they need to cast better. I wouldn’t mind a few less silly frat boy types and jocks too. Yeah they are good to look at but that doesn’t matter to me. As far as Amber leaving I am bummed. I don’t think she deserves it and it annoys me greatly that these girls can’t see what’s going on and are such bad players.I know some like Jacosta but I think she contributes nothing and should go before Amber.
Why does the order of leaving really matter? The final two should be all that really matters. If people stayed based on if they deserve it, the winners each season would ALL be different.

I was actually thinking of having a season of just girls or just guys. Because every season, for every game/reality shows like BB, the first instinct is to have an all-male or all female alliance.
Just this season, the bomb squad only included 6 guys until Devin brought in 2 girls. Also, Joey tried an all-girl alliance within the first few days.
If the entire cast was all men or all women, they would create alliance that got together for a purpose. Maybe bring is a couple of physical threat along with some brainiacs. Not just all the same gender together.
I’d skip an all guy season.

Zach is a breath of fresh air in that house right now. I absolutely dig his ability to attack, talk, and romp around in the house. Would I be roommates with him, um… never. BUT I feel bad for his game being constantly affected by Team America’s goals. If they blame him for the votes, rile him up for these speeches (making people hate him), then where is the line for us to un-fairlessly affect the game. Its hard enough playing with 15 other people, now we have to make America part of it.
I’m beginning to hate the involvement that CBS wants to do for social media and connecting the fans to the show. Hello… we’ll watch without the voting gimmicks.
Don’t forget, CBS makes money from the rubes, who can vote up to 20 times, dontca know.
I love Zach. He keeps things interesting! He is by far one of my favorites, besides Donny of course. But he is half cocked all the time and I love it! You just never know what is going to come out of his mouth!
Too bad, i really liked Amber. I hope Caleb becomes the player he started out to be now that she is gone.
