The week of excitement is drawing to a close, and it’s sad to say, but it was another over-hyped week. I thought we were due a Pandora’s Box or something fun, maybe an extra veto, or the photobooth turning into a time traveling machine to bring them back to the beginning of the season so they can make fewer dumb moves.
Nope, none of it. Just Elissa nominating McCrae and Aaryn, then Amanda winning veto to fuel the absurd conspiracies that she’s favored to win. When Amanda took McCrae off the block, he was replaced by Elissa’s friend, Andy. The biggest part of the week was not the nominations, but it was Amanda forming into her own little hurricane as she pretty much went batshit crazy on Elissa. There was a point in the week where Elissa remained in the HoH room with the door locked, and Amanda was banned from going up there.
Amanda tried to channel Dick Donato, but ended up channeling a bit of Jessie to make herself look more stupid than piss off Elissa. The low blow personal attacks are what really bothered the readers, and it’s understandable. As a fan of the show, I hate seeing that stuff. When you’re in the house, everything about you is fair game, but when you start bringing families into it, that’s just stupid. Bashing Elissa for the amount of times she talks about her son versus her step-son, implying she’s a bad step-mother is just crap…
Today has the potential to be REALLY slow or pretty exciting depending on Aaryn. She started stirring the pot last night, and if she continues, we could have some arguments on the horizon. Aaryn wants to remain in the house and is doing her best to repeatedly drive over Andy with the bus. Personally, I don’t think it’s going to work, but it’s fun to watch.

11:00am – The house had a wake-up call, a few people went to the DR, and aside some getting ready, others went back to bed. Yup, going to be one of those afternoons.
2:00pm – Long time between updates, I know. Had to run a few errands, I’m back to watch another day of the boring house! It’s lunch time and some are eating, some are just roaming around. Very exciting stuff here
3:15pm – Quick update before dinner. Nothing is going on. Shocker. I seriously should do a night shift because nothing happens during the day unless Hurricane Jessie is blowing through.
4:15pm – Hourly update. House eating. Some were in the pool for a little while, so there’s that!
4:30pm – Elissa bashing showmances. Who comes on Big Brother to fall in love? (ummm….)
Now Elissa continues to bash Amanda, her favorite topic. She’s trashy, gross, etc…. How can McCrae like a girl like that? — Elissa doesn’t directly insult people but those are examples of talking down about people.
5:00pm – Going to watch BB on CBS, I like the diary room sessions and competition
6:50pm – If you’re interested in talking about prostitution, now is your time to watch the feeds. Otherwise, go out and have fun!
8:20pm – Aaryn is packing up her stuff, the rest of the house hanging out not doing much. I’ll check back in to see if anything happens…
Like many of you I detest Amanda and Andy. I have really enjoyed not liking them. With that said, it could get really dull without them. If I had my way those two would be dangled from a thread in paranoia for a few more weeks. Andy’s head would explode and Amanda could get a good dose of her own behavior. I think the best thing would be to put up McCrae and Andy and let the sweat pour.

So many people are so overly sensitive about what someone says that it’s just plain silly.
All the players have watched the show before they went on. They see how crazy it can get, yet they go on anyway.
Some want to be discovered, some just for the money and their 15 minutes of fame, but they make the choice themselves.
What else should they expect. Losing your job over a statement made is pure BS. All this hate being spewed about this one or that is insane. Elissa made the choice to be there. Besides she’s such a snooze, I’m glad Amanda’s there. At least she’s entertaining, and isn’t that what this show’s about, entertainment. C’mon folks, toughen up a little and stop being so sensitive.

Amanda out of the house did anybody read that and they sent it to CBS I believe she will leave so many people want her off the show.
The last I read, the petition had almost 9,000 signatures.
The goal was to secure 10,000 before sending the petition to CBS/BB.

I did read an article about churches and schools condemning Amanda’s behavior
and CBS/BB.
All CBS/BB has to do is read the comments on BB Blogs to get the same information.
The only thing the shareholders care about is this quarters profit margins. Everyone is complaining yet BB is a ratings smash this season with the coveted 18-49 year old audience. Complain away folks, CBS is thrilled. Ever see the movie “Network”? You can bet your bottom dollar there is some junior executive at “Black Rock” wondering if they can get away with an on air suicide attempt next year. Ambitious and successful people are ruthless.

There about 330,000,000 people in the united states. If those 8000 people vanished tomorrow it would mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Tell me 800,000 or 8,000,000 people signed a petition and then I might agree with you. BB is an enormous summer hit for CBS and any publicity is good publicity. To quote the actress Clara Bow when told the newspaper gossip columns wee revealing that she was having affairs with many men simultaneously she replied, “I hope they spelled my name right”.

The entire population isn’t watching television, much less Big Brother. Therefore, the percentages are considerably lower. Besides, there could be other petitions that aren’t online. That said, I doubt this particular one will make a difference.

They did that the first year (BB 1) and by the fifth week the show turned into a total snoozefest. Only nice people were left, and we all know how fascinating nice people are.
The stay should be shorter–six weeks instead of twelve. House guests will have less time for romances, alliances, strategies, laziness, and dirtiness. Survival of the fittest-mentally, physically and emotionally-would be fast-paced.

Yesterday I believe Andy made a very astute comment to Spencer. McCranda winning HoH would be the best thing for them and so I wonder if they might be willing to throw it their way.
If McCranda wins HoH their target will be Elissa and probably Judd, GM will be the replacement if either comes down. Also if GM wins POV she can be influenced by the Exterminators to not use it on Elissa because they have the votes to save Judd. If she saves Elissa another Exterminator would have to go up and one go home so she would be dumping a 4 person alliance for a 1 person alliance with the person who sent her Nick and BFF Aaryan home. Besides GM always honors the HoH’s wishes.
In any event the following week this pays off because the four Exterminators would be up against either McCrae or Amanda but not both since one would be the exiting HoH. That will be a very important HoH as it may very well be the first on a double eviction night. That would make it a perfect time to put McCranda up together and just maybe get to evict Amanda within one hour – not allowing her any time to … well just be Amanda.
So for the droves of Ellisabots out there you had best have all your hopes and prayers on GM [god bless her racist heart, hope that back gets better] and Judd [a real life Boomhauer, when I yell at him on the TV I use my best Hank Hill voice].

Whenever I watch this sort of “reality” show I often wonder if the people even realize that sooner or later they will have to come back to the actual real world and at that point they will have the face the consequences.
IMHO those who enter the BB house go in knowing that they are throwing away a great deal of the “life” they might have had before. Win or lose they will not be able to simply return back to their old lives and just move on. This is especially true if they said or did anything that might have been taken by the viewers as odd, abnormal, socially unacceptable, or some combination therein.
Gern, most of the people that enter the BB house do not think they will be coming back to their old life. They think this is experience is going to give them a different more exciting life after BB.
I’m going to have to stop coming to this site for updates if the blogger keeps bashing Elissa. Clearly the weight of the world is for her.

first of all, i fell in love even more with this episode tonight!! although people keep saying how horrible of a person elissa is.. i don’t think she’s even HALF as bad as amanda. i don’t watch the live feeds so all my news i get is from this site, twitter and watching the show 3 times a week. i read on here that elissa is mean to aaryn when aaryn tries being nice to her.. but just now on the show she wanted to work with aaryn! that’s what i want to happen so bad. i just really hope elissa can talk spencer, judd & gm into voting andy out!! then they know for sure that they would have the numbers to get one of them out next week. i just HOPE mccranda doesn’t win hoh! and as for amanda’s bullying?! disgusting. calling elissa trash & taunting her like she was, it’s so much worse when you can actually watch it! i thought it was just her making comments here & there but her literally walking back & forth going nonstop on bullying her? that’s just horrible. elissa makes comments here & there but i still believe that she does that in retaliation. people are mean to her & it’s okay.. but once she says something back, then she’s the devil?! doesn’t make sense to me.
Erika this wasn’t the first time El tried to work with Aaryn. After Amanda won pov Aaryn went back to the dark side and hating Elissa. She does deserve to go. Also Andy is in a new alliance with Judd-Spencer- and Gm. I would like to believe he would put McManda up but who knows. He is still a rat.
Even though I can’t stand Ratfink Andy I kind of want him to win HOH this week to force his hand on which alliance he’ll commit to. That little Weasel would probably still try to ride the fense and convince his new alliance how much more dangerous the lone Elissa vs. the power couple who’ve run the house Amanda & McCrae. He’d have to turn on someone and if that someone was McCranda it would be a glorious week of Andy bashing which I would absolutely love.
I think the most dramatic part of tonight’s recap was Andy saying it is time to go after Amanda and McRae.
When he backstabs them, it will be the move of the season.
Andy putting them up would be the best move of this season!

Yes indeed. I made the above comment before seeing tonights show and was surprised by that declaration from Andy. It certainly seemed to come with some conviction. I’ve disliked this little weasel the whole game but if he wins HOH and puts up Amanda & McCrae I will re-evaluate how I feel about him.
Maybe zingbot got through to Andy about being a floater. After all, he has constantly mentioned since the beginning of season about not keeping the floaters and here zingbot tells him how we all see him as being a floater. Maybe it fired him up to make the big move.

He’s said, including just now tonight, when speaking alone to Spencer that he’d put up Elissa and GM. Spencer agrees. They want Elissa out first/won’t go after McManda yet since they’re playing both sides. Which is why I hope GM or Judd gets HOH.
If Andy attempts to suggest Elissa & GM go I hope that is a clear signal to Judd that Andy is not the guy he wants to be aligned with. But for some reason Judd seems totally blind when it comes to Andy as Elissa has tried to warm him numerous times now and it falls on deaf ears.
The difference between then and now is that now the votes are definitely there to vote Amanda out. The house is fed up with her antics.

Too little too late, and poor planning. If they had taken the time to think it through, Andy would have been someone they hoped played and won. Amanda would want him to use the pov to save McCrae, allowing a backdoor against Amanda.
Actually Amanda did even more bullying than what they showed tonight. They couldn’t show it all in a one hour show.
She even got upset because the rest of the HGs didn’t join in. She complained that now she’s the only one that looks bad. But they do look bad but because they did absolutely nothing to stop her tirade.
Cant stand the witch Amanda! When she thought she might be backdoored she cried and told Elissa that she was her friend and she had her back. But as soon as she got veto she went crazy on her. This is a game but Amanda hates on people when they play the game on her. She thinks shes all that but Helen controlled the game up until she tried to get Amanda and MC out.
I agree Rita. Watching the rest of them sitting there stone faced during Amanda’s abusive tirade was nearly as bad as the tirade itself. Had any one of them(including McCrae) gone in there and said it’s gone on long enough not only would they have won a lot of fans who were watching but probably won over most of the houseguest getting tired of Amanda’s antics.
They don’t want fans. They want 500 thou. The smartest thing they could have done is just sit there and watch her commit suicide. When someone is burying themselves there is no need to pick up a shovel.
I disagree about the fans part suzyq. Barely a day goes by without one of them wondering how they are being perceived in the outside world. Andy was so upset about zingbot calling him a floater he was nearly in tears. They all know only one person wins the 500k but half of the house thinks they can piggyback a career off their big brother appearance. You can always cook all of your meals at home ( I do most
of the time ) or you can choose wisely when you go out
for a meal.

offer a sous chef the opportunity to meet others in the industry
and for them to receive the guests compliments for his/her work.
The appearance, cleanliness and order in a working kitchen
are never left to chance.

Around 11:30 last night Aaryn was telling the gang that a couple weeks ago Elissa told her she has a secret crush on Judd. Maybe have a reality show about the treatment Staff for Retail chains get treated by their employers and customers. I get where your coming from. I don’t watch alot of the reality shows but I do like BB, AR and Summer Camp. I also watched a couple episodes of Heroes, just so I could look at Roc (LOL). I never watched Airport, but I worked retail at Macy’s and know about working P/T and working an extra hour to clean up dressing rooms, folding towels, dusting, etc while getting paid $7.50 hr. I heard a commercial for a new show about a church choir, that might be interesting for those of us who sing in church choirs.

For all we know maybe Amanda worked a secret deal for her man McCrae? We will see if he gets away with all that he did to help Amanda torment Elisa….. McCrae is not innocent either. But I must say if the rumors are true it would be a better show. Maybe Big Brother will be replaced with another type of reality show. Are don’t let Alison G have any part of contestant selection from here on out. People should not be friends or relatives of any of the shows staff.
BB does not need to be replaced with another reality show. Just change the casting crew and remove some of the production staff. The show would be more interest with more competitions and less down time for the HGs if they had something to do.
The original Big Brother had HG nominating possible evictees and the public voting who would be sent out. HG’s would probably act a little differently if they knew the public was involved.

If the rumors are true and Demanda self-evicts Thursday then McStinky and Rat Dog will be the big targets. McStinky and Spencer want a guys alliance and want to call it No Ma’am but I think Judd likes the idea of him, Elissa and GM as F3. Judd still blames McStinky for not having his back when DeManda wanted him out.
I don’t believe the rumors of the self-eviction. Wouldn’t she be crying in bed all day with MC if that were true?
Why do they get wake up calls just to go right back to bed after they crawl their lazy asses out of bed.

On the rumor of Amanda leaving this week:
1. Did she go into the DR for a long time?
2. Did she come out of the DR with evidence of having been crying?
3. Did she, upon exiting DR head to the nearest trash can to hide and think because she isn’t allowed to tell anyone?
4. Have her and McCrae been seen huddling with their mics covered whispering?
1. She is back on her meds (controlled substance Fed Mandated for Doc to see patient before new re-fill)
2. She apologized to Elissa and is being EXTRA nice to her.
3. She cleaned–she washed dishes, picked up clothes, washed her sheets!!
4. Talk about what she really cares about is her job and if she lives conservatively she can get through the winter.
5. Said she was going to do her nails, self-tan and wax because she wants to look like a lady.
6. When she said she wanted to back-hand Elissa over the wine she was called to DR and came out head hanging.
7. McStinky has already started his guys only alliance. (He showered but then put on the same shirt so he’s still McStinky)

Can only hope it’s true. With CBS and BB allowing all that has happened to Candice, Howard and Elissa (the main ones to be tormented) all season without stopping it, it is questionable if they really are doing something. I realize that the latest threats against Elissa by Amanda are by far the worse and like I said in a previous post, she should be given the royal e****t out the DR door.

I think Mommy saw her former coke head daughter disintegrating on National TV (getting worldwide coverage)and stepped in with the lawyers to negotiate a deal to get her out of there with as little embarrassment as possible.
I’m sure CBS/BB are happy to pay her off to Go Away and Keep Your Big Mouth Shut. No interviews, etc = no questions about her friendship with AG, did production know about her pregnancy and if so what did they say, etc etc etc.
I heard her mention not looking herself up but passed it off as her just trying to make herself look important to others. Think I will check the wine supply and go Beer shopping for Thursday nights show.

They are saying that’s part of the settlement. She apologizes and leaves. Since Aaryn will probably be going home, Julie will still get an exit interview that we want to see. Everyone has been counting down wondering about a double eviction and this could be it.

Amanda told several people in the house that she found out she was pregnant during final casting. She said it was only a couple of days and that she lost the baby because she was on birth control.
Ok, I’m sure there are a few weeks before final casting and moving in the house. No need to throw stones on an issue non of us need to be concerned with. Bring on the thumbs down.
She said she was 3 days pregnant then got her period so she must have miscarried. Since there is NO TEST on earth that can tell you that you are 3 days pregnant, we would have to believe that she only slept with her married boyfriend of 2 months 3 days before she found out she was pregnant…hard to believe that one.
Also there are questions like did you tell CBS/BB because they would have to do medical/psychological tests to insure her physical/mental health especially for comps.
And if you just miscarried why would you go on a tv show instead of being with your family and boyfriend?
And why would you jump on McStinky days after meeting him?

I saw all of what you mentioned. It almost looked like she was getting ready to pack. But then she talks with McCrae about future moves in the game.
I doubt she will self evict tomorrow but it does seem like she is on her best behavior. Maybe production gave her a final warning and threatened to kick her out if she doesn’t apologize and behave. You would think if they wanted to boot her out they wouldn’t wait, they would call her into the DR and e****t her out the other door as we have seen in previous seasons.

And with there only being 4 weeks of the show left we were expecting a double eviction. So this would solve both issues.
I don’t think that giving bullying and Threatening bodily harm to anyone a reward is appropriate. What are you telling people. That the game was fixed and you want to keep Amanda quiet? That is not right. Admit where production went wrong and correct it from there. But Amanda should not be able to make a plea to a national audience I know I would not believe one word that she would say as her actions spoke immense volume.
Didn’t they threaten her with a penalty nom when she was terrorizing Elissa? Couldn’t that be the reason for the changes?
Her is a question for you all to think about. In past Big Brother seasons did all the other house guess who got booted out get a settlement from the show as well as not to be sued by the house guess? If not then why would you pay off Amanda Z if this Big Brother season was not rigged? Why does Big Brother and CBS not admit there faulty actions for allowing Amanda to Threaten, Bully and out right Torment all the other House guess. They even let McCrae get away with his part in bullying Elisa. Just goes to show you that BB production is saving face and covering for Alison Grodner the Producer! Bring back an old saying “It’s not what you know it’s WHO you know”.
We are at the point of the season where many of the entertaining people are gone, or going soon, so we have these boring stretches.
Once Amanda and Aaryn are gone it will be worse whether you like them or not.
It will be fun to watch the boys scramble since they’ve been letting the girls do all the dirty work so far. I know, GM’s not a boy.

I read a tweet that proclaimed that Amanda and Big Brother got together with Amanda’s parents and lawyer that said on the next live show Amanda will get a settlement for self evicting herself and that she has the right to apologies on National TV for how she has acted. If this tweet is correct I would sooner not listen to Amanda’s fake apology as I truly believe Amanda was in complete control of her actions and she Amanda is old enough to know Right from wrong. REALLY. It seems Big Brother is trying to save face. Amanda should just be removed from the game and not given the right to lie anymore then she has shown society already. Just my opinion but CBS and Big Brother are rewarding Bully tactics and threats.
I read the tweet you are referring to. I would like to see Amanda exit the show but I don’t think bad behavior should be rewarded. If something like this happens then what would prevent future HG’s from pulling an “Amanda”?
I recently read an interview with Amanda’s father, he said that her mother and sister was having a hard time with all the bad press she was receiving. Her sister had a facebook page for Amanda and had to take it down due to the negative messages.
So if Amanda self evicts does that mean no one else will be voted out this week?

Here’s my take on what’s going on here…
Amanda ran out of some VERY powerful medication. Her natural tendency to attack people she perceives as ‘weak’ went into overdrive. The Producers contacted her family (since the Network has NO authority under DEA law to prescribe medication) to have her doctor renew the prescriptions. Then, when those meds were ready her mom brought them to the studio.
Someone (the world is a strange place when you recognize the mother of a tv show contestant) recognized Amanda’s mom and ran with a story that would get them some attention on the internet.
So there you go – my guess is just as invalid as anyone’s, but, logic tells me this is much more likely than the Tweet released earlier this week.
Can’t wait to find out on Thursday.
(and, just for the record, I’d personally like to see Amanda, Aaryn, GM, and Spencer gone just because they are all a bit out there – maybe I should apply to be a contestant screener next year so we can all talk about the game instead of the insanity that has ruled this year’s conversation?)
idk- powerful medication? She needs some powerful therapy to deal with her aggression issues… its hard to imagine her being in sales and real estate.. you have to have tough skin for that.. and she falls apart so easily and starts an attack. My guess is she has never been under the microscope this much and has never been called out on her bad behavior before.. or has and then got dumped… my guess is BB will do nothing about her and let the game take its course…
The meds Demanda is on are controlled substances. Fed regulations say a doctor cannot refill without seeing the patient in person. Florida law (where Demanda lives) has gotten very strict shutting down Dr. FeelGoods and tracking prescriptions of controlled substances. So Mommy running in with a refill is not as easy as you make it sound.
And why did Demanda just stop all the harassment? Why did she apologize to Elissa? Why did she start cleaning–dishes, clothes, washing sheets? Why did she say she had enough money to make it through the winter if she lived conservatively? Why did she say “They” told her it would be best if she didn’t search her name on the internet for at least a year? Why did she say she wanted to do her nails, self-tan and wax because she wanted to look like a lady?
Since she was medicated all season in full s***k mode, getting back on meds does not account for these sudden changes.

2. Amanda, Aaryn, GM and Spencer need to go. I think most of the remaining HG’s will be doing some real damage control once they are out of the house and off the show.
GM – I think she is going to have the hardest time dealing with how and what people think of her. I am concerned about her mental state. The way she treated Candice was horrible. What is she going to think when she finds out that Nick wasn’t that into her?
Amanda – She is going to be in shock when she realizes that America didn’t like her.
Spencer – He has made some pretty stupid comments about children. He will lay low till it blows over.
Aaryn – I think she is use to getting her way. She was probably one of the popular kids at school and has been able to get away with whatever because she is blond and cute. This time it is going to be harder.
McCrae – Is guilty by association. Not sure if he ever said or did anything?
Andy – Is going to be known as a tattle tale.
Judd – Don’t think he ever said anything bad….can’t understand him when he mumbles. He will come out looking pretty good.
Elissa – Is the other one that I think will come out pretty clean.

I agree, Big Brother really messed up on there choices this year, but Amanda is the worst. Vile, vicious, neurotic and very un-hygenic. I don’t like Andy or spencer either, but do feel a bit sorry for them having to share the room of dirty clothes, dirty sheets, dirty dishes, used condums, etc. The smell must be a revolting as the Amanada.
I am no Aaryn fan but i would keep her over Amanda any day. They all talk game but the players dont seem to want to break up a big threat Amanda and her boy toy. MC.

They really should have dropped in Pandora’s Box this week. If it just happens to show up when Amanda miraculously wins the HOH this week and helps her stay in power all the conspiracy theorist will explode. Elissa nearly on an island right now and it would be nice to toss her a bone and see the house scramble.
Maybe Pandora’s box next week and it will help keep Elissa in the game longer.

Has it ever been given based on fan vote? The only season I watched that had it, they had to solve a puzzle first to earn it. I know it was used in seasons I didn’t watch though.
I know this is pie-in-the-sky, but it would be awesome if Elissa did get PB already, and the reveal is that she is automatically HOH again next week, but can not reveal it until after the eviction. Perhaps the punishment for the house is that Elissa can put up her choice of 2 or 3 nominees…
