If you want to rank the Big Brother 14 houseguests in terms of roller coasters, we’ll see Frank has been riding in the Superman Ride Of Steel while say Jenn has been coasting along in the Big Thunder Mountain ride at Disney.
Let’s take a brief look at his season:
- Gets nominated by Willie, is promised that Kara is likely going home
- Fights with Willie and is no longer guaranteed safety
- Wins the vote 4-3 and is saved, then wins HoH
- His HoH week was wildly successful as Willie got himself kicked out and JoJo left
- Shane wins HoH and puts Ashley and Joe on the block, thinking Frank is safe
- Shane wins PoV, removes Ashley and puts up Frank
- Frank had the votes to leave but was saved by the twist to reset the game
- Danielle wins HoH and promptly targets Frank
- Frank and Boogie somehow not only align with Danielle, but get Janelle evicted
- Frank wins HoH
If Frank doesn’t win Big Brother 14, and it’s very possible he won’t due to the fact that he’s clearly still a large target, his ride has been utterly impressive. He’s not floating by and winning competitions when he needs to, he’s been in the thick of all the house drama and has found a way to be in the house this long. In addition, his alliance with Boogie is something scary as it’s starting to resemble the Will and Boogie alliance back in their seasons.
Anyway, it appears the have-have not competition will be taking place shortly and nominations will also follow. Joe is likely the target, and they’re now trying to figure out who to put up against him. At this point it could be anyone from Boogie as a pawn to Jenn as an ‘I don’t care if either go home’ situation.
In addition, it appears Ashley is still suffering a lot of pain, and was tended to a lot by Wil this morning. She got called into the DR and people speculated that she may end up being removed from the game, but using the live feeds, she’s clearly still there… and still in rough shape
This is just a brief post to keep you updated on the house. It was relatively quiet last night, and “The Silent Six” appears to have remained in tact through the DR slip. One of the producers replied to a post made on reality blurred vehemently defending the mishap and saying it had no effect on the game. Nothing of importance was spilled, otherwise it wouldn’t have been as calm in the house. In addition to that, read the comment following that by Cheryl who then goes in to ripping the producer a new one about the constant cutting away to fish on the feeds this season. I agree with her, I wish they’d tone it down, we pay to watch what happens inside the house when the show isn’t on CBS, but if you’re already that big of a fan, you’re probably still watching the CBS episodes. Superfans don’t want to miss DR sessions and competition details, or the faces of people when they’re nominated, etc.
I understand cutting away due to copyright things like someone singing a song, but they should definitely relax on cutting away from things like pizza parties and what not. Just my little rant on the subject. The feeds are still the best entertainment for the price you’re paying, but it is certainly frustrating to watch fish instead of super drama.
I understand theres copyrights/certain other things that need to be kept unseen/heard however at some point they can mute the sound (like another certain show) and do other things to improve that. While im only one person and yet there is stil alot to see, the fish is so overboard that this could be my last year paying. I love the show but paying to see overboarding fish Im just about done with now.
Agreed. It just happens way too often. I sat here last night for well over an hour, and it spent the majority of that on the fish. I love the show, twists and all, and I love watching the live feeds, but it is simply getting out of control. When the larger part of an hour is spent cutting to and from fish, well, I’ll buy a fish tank if I want to watch fish that bad.
I actually miss the Hampster cage now. At least the hampsters were a bit more fun to watch.
I paid for live feeds 2 or 3 seasons ago. I found that to be a HUGE waste of money! I saw more fish than anything. I think you know more about what goes on by reading this blog and watching Showtime after dark, and last year showtime pissed me off so I canceled it. So this season I am down to only reading this blog(I have already unscheduled BB from my DVR)!
Next season will have to be REALLY AWESOME to get me back…
I was really starting to think it was just me feeling that I’m seeing a lot more of the fish this year. What’s driving me nuts is how they seem to be cutting away a lot when production has anything to say. I’ve seen it cut when they are talking about what they accidentaly saw in the yard, to like you said singing, and it really ticked me off when it was cut and the DR leak was going on. That was the biggest drama of the day (except the vote) and you don’t need to have Showtime or the Live Feeds to see that result.
I actually kept my Showtime active for 2 of their shows (a ton of my friends get rid of Showtime when their shows aren’t on) and for BBafterdark. Granted, the rant wasn’t during those hours, but they sure do cut to a different room if something isn’t going their way. Plus, we get these feeds so we’ll be in the know. And the only time I KNOW I won’t see those dang fish, is if everyone is asleep!!!
I’m not going to stop watching, I love BB, even with the twists and turns, most of the time I like the twists, it feeds into the “expect the unexpected”. I’ve seen so many people, here and elsewhere going on and on about how much they “hate” this season, last season, the one before that, but guess what… they still log on, and are still watching (you can look back at most of the complaints, and see the same names over and over), I’ll still watch. I might rethink the live feeds next year, but I’m sure I’ll get them, lol.

I am quickly coming to a decision that I have dreaded for a while. I first started watching BB in season 6, and I became a fast and instant fan. The last few seasons have been terrible! I used to never miss an episode, then I would DVR the show and watch as soon as I got in the door, now I DVR and watch episode a week later (if even then). Yea and I DO NOT believe that “AMERICA” voted to have the coaches play! After the fiasco of newbies vs veterans yea I don’t believe America would do that again. I have skipped the last 3 episodes and will probably skip the rest. Why not change the show to BB Floater House!

I agree. BB wanted the coach twist and even if America voted against it, they’d claim it was America wanted to have the twist they wanted. You could only [to my knowledge] text your vote, so they could say the voting went anyway they wanted. They didn’t even say by what percentage.
I ranted to the producer a lot last year! and she always had an excuse and always justified theyr’e actions I came to realize real fast that they don’t really care what the viewers want! or think they know just by your comments that you are still watching the show and the live feeds! because it keeps the ‘RATINGS” high
I don’t have the live feed this year, but I do rememeber complaining about the fish!!!! and I see nothing has changed.
