Another season of Big Brother is officially in the books, and one person is $500k (minus taxes) richer tonight, another is $50k (2nd place), and a third is $25k (America’s Favorite). Before we get to that, I’m going to talk about the episode a bit.
Real men don't use goggles
We got to finally see the second part of the competition between Adam and Porsche, where both players had to dive in a tub and put faces through a maze based on where they won the Head of Household. Porsche did decent, but Adam decided using goggles for the competition was for suckas so he tossed his aside like a man who sucks at competitions would do. Of course, after one more dive in, he realized.. “S**t, I need goggles to help me see better under water” and got out of the pool to put them back on.
Naturally, when he lost by more than 2 minutes, he blamed it on the goggles. I guess it took him more than 2 minutes and 17 seconds to get out of the pool, get his goggles and jump back in. Of course, this is Adam we’re dealing with, so it’s quite possible he did spend more than 2 minutes outside of the pool.
He clearly felt had he won that competition, he would have won the 3rd round (he probably would have), and then cruised to victory in the final 2. So the rest of his life, he’s going to feel throwing goggles was basically throwing $500k away, but don’t worry Adam, it wasn’t. I have a hard time believing you would have had a better shot than Porsche in the final round. I’m sure he feels he locked up Jeff’s vote, but I don’t agree. Either way, we’ll never know.
Rachel stuck with her word and kept Porsche in the final 2, and it was then time to talk to the jury and try to win their votes. Like I expected, Rachel pushed the whole ‘I’ve been a target the entire game‘ line, while Porsche didn’t mention that she, too, was nominated 4 times. Granted she was only up for eviction twice, and instead just downplayed the golden key. I know Porsche wasn’t about to throw the person who just handed her at least $50k under the bus, but she could have mentioned how neither of them were really a target until roughly a month in when the veterans stopped winning HoH’s. In fact, Daniele’s major plan was to get Jeff out, and Rachel made herself a target by being mean to people early in the season. Like Daniele said, Rachel should feel lucky it wasn’t a personality contest.
Porsche making her case
Porsche had a much better plea to the jury than she did answering the questions, but Rachel really drilled it in everyone’s head that she was alone in the world and had an uphill climb the entire game. I’m not trying to downplay what she went through, but having a real life partner in the house as someone you can trust completely gives you an advantage none of the newbies had.
To her credit though, Rachel won when she needed to, and when the newbies were in completely control of the game, it was our fiery red head that stepped up when they needed it most. Both Rachel and Porsche certainly fought their way to be in the final 2, and I was happy both were there.
On to the voting.. as I predicted, it would be a 4-3 vote, and I got the winner correct, but I was wrong on who Shelly and Adam would vote for. Meh, can’t win them all. Anyway, here were the final votes to win:

I cant stand racheal, she drove me nuts,from her crying, to her stupid little comments. for the life of me i dont see wat brenden sees in her. But this is not about who you are, its how you play the game. and when she wasnt crying she was a good compeiter

Porsche did a horrible job as far as her “speach” went. It’s almost like she didn’t even try to win anyone over. And Rachel did a ton of repeating, but it just goes back to if you keep saying it, people believe it. I do think Rachel should have won, but I also expected to see more of a fight from Porsch.
I have to say, Dani dissapointed me. When she said “personality contest” I really did think she was going to vote on who deserved it, not who she’s friends with. But Shocker, she still voted against Rachel, so obviously for her, it was a personality contest. So I believe what Adam had said to Rachel proved true, that she shouldn’t have left mean good-bye messages (calling Dani a B***h, twice) and that doing so would come back to bite her.
I still wish Dick had been there this season, the game would have been so much more fun to watch. But all-in-all, I loved this year too. And I’ll without a doubt be here next year as well.

Adam was completely delusional. He spent the whole summer as a do nothing mega floater and last night wakes up…..and thinks he is a rockstar or evil dick…..give me a break. go back to jersey.

would have been good drinking game how many times she repeated herself. she still didn’t answer the question just gave her memorized speech. hope she gets drunk and greedy in vegas and doubles down and blows the whole wad. i have never not like a person as much as i dislike her.
I found myself yelling at the TV telling Rachel to shut up. She kept repeating herself. I was waiting for her to say something stupid that might cost her a vote.
Porsche deserved to be there over Adam and Jordan but her argument was weak.
I was surprised by Shelly’s vote. Was it to make the vets like her again? And Adam, I was surprised by his vote. Where did that come from?
Rachel won but I still think she should have taken Adam with her. If Shelly voted as expected she would still be crying in a corner.
It wasn’t the best season but I enjoyed it.

I am glad that Porsche won some money. After all the crap Jordan said about her, Porsche deserves to win.
She did right by nominating Jordan last week.
I like Porsche because she was a peacemaker in the game. So was Adam too. Why do you think they made it so far?
Porsche did not deserve to win over Rachel. She earned her 50K, but no more! For her to say she was equal in her game play as Rachel is a joke. Rachel was a much better game player. I think Adam needs to get away from Big Brother cause he thinks he is a AllStar. I think he has been in lockdown to long. I love Jordan and did not want to see her go but she did not work hard enough to stay. Adam made it to the end because He was not a threat so he was safe to keep. Without the golden key I think Porsche most likely would have been sent home.
Porche only won when everyone else was out, Rachel won the first and thrid HOH while competing with everyone…there is a difference there. Competing against 5 or 13, makes a difference.
So when do they give Rachel the check?
